Abba basically did karaoke versions of 60s pop, IMO. They wouldn't have sold nearly as many records in the mid-60s as they did in the 70s. But you can see why punk started when you hear a song like this. The chicks were smoking, but it's all so smiley and sugary. Like the Beatles on prozac!
