As to the scooter comment, some people get them because while walking short distances is easy, the long distances in hotels are not always so easy and can take a while. I think I would say the good folk at Disability Rights Advocates do not want anyone's depression. They want acknowledgement of where technology can serve a good purpose in augmenting any body's constructive potential.
