As far as the calculations go, I think you should also add in that CO2 is only responsible for 3%-30% (depending on who you ask) of the global greenhouse effect. So not only is mankind responsible for a small percentage of CO2 in the air, CO2 it self has only a fractional effect on temperatures.

If you're sore about Mr.Gore´s home, that's one issue, and I can understand. But, it has nothing to do with humanity's addiction to oil and consumerism and what these are doing to the atmosphere, oceans, and resources. Scientific studies ARE the evidence, and have nothing to do with Al Gore. Look at news about deforestation, carbon monoxide and dioxide, overfishing, landfills... These are ALL man-made. Most of them are done by scientists that have no political or corporate interests. It's basic physics and chemistry, really. Study for yourself how certain elements and compounds react with others, and then multiply that by six billion people. You'll see it's no coincidence this is happening now. It is a call to all of us to be responsible for our way of life.
