Did u started playing RuneScape in 2010? probably...

Anyways here is the history:

In Runescape Classic the hitpoints level was 10 however level 10 was only 1000exp, so when RSC transferred to Runescape2 (current runescape) the exp for level 10 became 1154exp. So a 9 hitpoints account still has 1000exp in hitpoints making it level 9 hitpoints. Also I am not claiming to be original or the only account with 9 hitpoints..

@merchant4life i have played runescape classic way back in 03 so dont say im a noob or an idiot, im just stating my opinion. in stead of starting with 9 hp in runescape classic, im pretty sure you just started off with 1000 hp exp (which got you to level 10 in classic) (i think) and in rs as we know it today accounts need like 1152 exp in hp to be level 10, which all of the new account start with.

Jagex had a different amount of hp xp between the lvls 9 and 10, so they were born as a 10 hp but then they changed the xp to a bit less which gave you 9 hitpoints...

In RS classic u had an amount of xp at 10hp. The xp for lvl 10 hp got boosted a bit up in RS2, that's why u got under 10hp in RS2 and so 9 HP...

Live2kill13, is completely wrong tho, they didnt boost the amount of xp u need for 99 hp. I have a 9 hp acc and I got it simply from transferring my acc form RSC to Rs2, thats all, when u transer it only gives u 1000 Hp xp, making ur hp 9.

when rsc came out all accounts started with 9 hp when rs2 came out the exp fields were updated thus only very old accounts from rsc have 9 hp

no not right at all. In rsc all accounts started at 10 hp just like they do now in rs2, but the exp needed for lvl 10 was slightly different so when rsc accs that had gained no exp in hp transferred to rs2, the exp stayed the same and left them with just under 10 hp.
