  • i can't unclip any of the original housing including the bit where the 3 logo is? help? :(

  • @sofieetorriiilovesjw

Hi, the bit with the 3 logo on is very difficult the first time it comes off, start at the bottom and lift it up, once it lifts up then move to the top of it and pull it down, that should get that bit off and make it easier to remove the rest, i hope this helps,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • One of the screws at the back of mine is blocked by a blue thing. Is this supposed to be there? Its a curve 9300

  • @knoxy448

Hi, the blue dot is a warranty sticker, basically Blackberry put it there so they know if someone has opened your phone other than them, the screw is under that blue sticker,

You can just push through the sticker or remove it then you will see the other screw,

I hope this helps, and if you need anything else just ask,

    Kind regards,

    Neill.

    Neill.

  • hello I have this small problem of the screen lens lifting off my phone so I want to replace it and I have a question if this will void the warranty?

  • @MrColakid11

Hi, if the phone is under warranty take it back and ask them to fix it, also how long is the warranty for, if you only have 2 or 3 months left then it's probably worth just changing it, as for loosing your warranty I think yes you would, i hope this helps,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • the screw under my blue thing has been shredded to the pieces... it won't come out. -.-

  • @RoobannCowley

Hi try the next size up torx screw driver, so if your using a T5 then try a T6, and make sure you put a lot of pressure on the head when you unscrew it, let me know if this does not work,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • Hey I put my cover on today but u didn't show how to put the 2back screws on mate. I put em on after I done all of my cover now my call and reject button are a bit harder any ideas mate.?

  • @king78613

Hi this was just a demo video, im glad you put your screws back in, as for stiff buttons just make sure the screen is sitting down in the right place, other than that i can't think what else you can try,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • easy didnt need this

  • hi your video helps alot but i have one main question do you HAVE to take the screen lense off from its orginal glue or can it be removed with the front fasia as im changing my housing soon because my lense is scratch (pocket wear and tear) and im quite worried when it comes to glue and breaking orginal seals please reply to alex.adey@hotmail.co.uk

    many thanks alex

  • @kila22ify

Hi Alex, i will send you a personal message as well as this one, but unfortunately you do need to remove the screen to change the housing as the screen sits over the housing, it will reseal if you don't take too long, under 30mins is fine, then the glue will not dry up, and use a heat gun or a hair dryer to heat the screen up first, that will help remove it easier, i hope this helps,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • my phone one has a left screw and on the right side it has the blue water thin, what i do i doo?

  • @danymicmon

Hi it's only a sticker, push your torx screw driver through it and the screw is under that Blue dot, the blue dot is a warranty stick to let Blackberry know someone has opened you hand set, if you ever need to take it for repair, i hope this helps,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • mine has 1 screw and the other one is blue dude what do we do there?

  • @99strboots

Hi it's only a sticker, push your torx screw driver through it and the screw is under that Blue dot, the blue dot is a warranty stick to let Blackberry know someone has opened you hand set, if you ever need to take it for repair, i hope this helps,

    i hope this helps,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • do i have to remove the two back screws as this voids my blackberry warranty?

  • @mracmillwall

Hi yes you must remove them to get the old housing off, if your phone only has a little time left under warranty then it may be worth the wait, i hope this helps,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • Hi there, when i tried to take the little bottom bit of, i tried a bit to hard and the little thing that is held down with 2 screws has snapped into 2 pieces, could you tell me what this is called please? thanks

    i hope this helps,

    Neill.

  • When I buy the housing from the gb site dopes it come with a screwdriver & screen remover thingy.

    Neill.

  • Hi, i'm thinking of getting the red housing but I have only just got my blackberry and I don't want to damage the screen when I take it of. How long can you have the screen of thephone before the adheasive dry's out?

  • @FLABEX224

Hi, you should be able to leave it off for at least an hour, but the change over will only take around 20 mins even if you have never done it before, i hope this helps,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • any tips how i can get the screen of? i dont have that 'stick' to get it off..

  • @Drixuh55

Hi, you could try a thin blunt knife, also use a hair dryer to heat the screen up first, that way it will soften up the glue and you will find it easier to get off, i have a full step by step tutorial video that can help if you need it, just let me know,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • @SWwebmaster thanks alot, it worked :)

  • @Drixuh55

Hi, really glad it helped, have a great week and enjoy your phone,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • Is it possible to take of the case without unscrewing the screw? I can't seem to get my screw out. I don't know if my screwdriver sucks or if I damaged my screw from trying. :/

  • @sunstripedsorbet

Hi unfortunately you need to take the screws out as that is what holds your housing on, now make sure you are using a T5 torx screw driver and not a phillips, also if the T5 does not work the try a T6 as the screw heads are easily damaged,

    i hope this helps,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • do u have to put the screws back on

  • @DennyisaBOSS

Hi yes please do, the screws are what holds the phone together,

    i hope this helps,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • ive got a screw and a blue thing, do i take the blue thing out as well?

  • @mysmilewontfade

Hi the blue thing is a sticker, it is there so Blackberry knows if anyone has opened your phone, if you ever take it for repair, just peel off the sticker and you will find the other screw, i hope this helps,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • Hi

How much pressure do I need to put on the bottom part of the case

I cant seem to remove it!

    Please Mail Me!

    Thanks!

  • @XAshleighGoMooX

Hi Ashleigh, the first time you take the bootom off it's really stiff, your not doing anything wrong so dont worry about that, just keep trying, it will come off, there are two clips that hold it in place and you will here them click as they undo,

i hope this helps and good luck,

    Neill.

  • @royalhamzah

  • Hey I have bought the black one for the same phone but I have a problem removing the front where it says t-mobile .

  • @catcoolamrit

Hi that little plate is very difficult the first time to come off, mine comes off quite easy now but i have taken it off hundreds of times, now just keep trying, it clicks into the frame that's why its stiff, start at the bottom and lift it up, it's held in place with two clips, you will hear them unclip, then when they have put your fingers at the top of that little plate and pull it down, it should come off,

    i hope this helps,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • i only have 1 screw and a blue thing so what am i meant to do?

  • @mufcblue

Hi the blue dot is just a sticker, the screw is under that blue sticker so just peel it off,

    i hope this helps,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • What country are you in?

  • @metboii96

Hi, we are based in China,

    i hope this helps,

    Neill.

  • I cant get the screw off :( The screwdriver kinda like scraped the shape of it, so now its all smooth and I can't seem to unscrew it. What do I do?

  • @NKhun

Hi, you could try using a flat head screw driver, or try glueing your T5 torx screw driver in the head, let the glue dry so it goes hard, that should give you more bite, if this does not help then come back to me,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • for the faceplate, do you just snap it back on and it won't fall out and be sturdy?

  • @emilyleungg

Hi, no once you have installed it you must put the screws back in,

    i hope this helps,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • @SWwebmaster how about for the lens? thank you!

  • @emilyleungg

Hi, the lens should also be okay, try to get the change over done in under 30mins so the adhesive does not dry up,

    i hope this helps,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • :)

  • hi i just want to say thank you 4 tha video it was very helpful

  • @QsMaster1998

Hi, thanks for your comment, and im glad it helped you,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • Mine only has one screw. The other one on the right is a flat blue thingy. So do i only remove one?

  • @NKhun

Hi, that sticker is your warranty sticker, the screw is under it, Blackberry will be able to tell you have opened your Blackberry as the sticker will no longer be there, but that is if you still have a warranty left or if you ever have a problem with your phone, i hope this helps,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • @NKhun Im trying to glue a screwdriver to it, might not work, if it doesnt what should i do?

  • @SyndicateLikesBoobs

you can try going up a size in torx screw driver size, or maybe a flat head screw driver will help,

    i hope this helps,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • @NKhun yh thats exactly what mine looks like

  • @NKhun the blue thing is a stcker stuck over the screw

  • @NKhun

Hi I had the same problem and infact it isnt a problem because the blue thingy looks flat in fact it isn't- i pressed the screwdriver in to check if its a screw and it was, the screw is blue so as soon as you get the correct screw driver in , it should flatten and you can unscrew naturally and after some time the blue comes off and you're left with just a silver screw. I hope this helped:)

  • @KazzaDazza009

Hi that's correct, just push your torx screw driver through it,

    thanks for commenting,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • I have a whitberry now.. Thanks :-)

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • im finding it impossible to take the bottem thing off! help?

  • @OhElloTonii

Hi, hahaha, yes i had the same problem the first time, after 10 or 20 times of taking it off it is easy, just start at the bottom and keep lifting it up, it will come off, it will sound like you have snapped something when it releases but when that happens move your fingers to the top of it and pull it forward, then it should come off,

    i hope this helps,

    kind regards,

    Neill.
