  • why does this bootcamp look so simple x_X...

  • a big congratulation to the uploader for buying the same video that is sold in ANY Navy Exchange.....Hell I am almost positive that they sell this video in the "check-out" line of of the commissary also

  • I've thought LONG and HARD about joining the Navy, but had to accept the the fact that it's just not in me. I have a HUGE respect for our men/women in uniform who are brave enough in answering the call of duty, I wish them all the best for the future! (Salutes)

  • If join be a corpsman so you can get some with the devil dogs

  • i almost joined the navy but one of my biggest fears is drowning. so i joined the air force as security forces and i could not have been happier with my decision. i have nothing but respect for the navy because my grand father was in the navy.

  • @mcnallyrd3 lol scared of drowning but not scared of falling to your death.

  • oh man it looks cold there lol.

  • old uniforms

    whackkkk

    I <3 my NWU's

  • @Idontage I hate the NWUs... it doesn't even make any sense. if you fall overboard, you will not be found wearing that crap, its even digital so as to not be seen by night vision. smh why would you need blue cammies any ways? if you hide, you're still not hidden youre on a huge ass ship! lol i like the working whites, winter blues, the dungarees were kinda ugly but they were tradition... this blue crap... i hate it

  • to all future sailors i loved being in the navy and i would do it all over.the navy is the greatest navy in the world.hoooyaaaa. phil elsner photo mate third class ret.

  • @philelsner you retired as a third class?

  • Just had to comment and rep the nukes. Hooyah future sailors! - mm3

  • @soonerfannathan my friend in the dep pool got the job of a nuke i got ps im just happy i got a job in the navy its a honor to even get in

  • im a girl, 5tf tall just signed up for Navy and i just can't wait to serve my country .

  • @aznlilgangstah Good for you! You've made a wise choice!

  • i want to join the navy because i want to do what my great grand father did in ww2, and become a seabee...... i come from a family that has been in the military since the civil war, my father was in the air force in the first gulf war my grand father was a marine in vietnam, my great grand father was a sea bee that was at just about ever major landing invasion in the pacific, and a great greay grand father that was in the army and was given a medal of honor

  • MA2 (2002-2010) BMT is a piece of cake. Now DROP!!!!!

  • Im prior service Army who is going Navy and im rather looking forward to it.. Im not gonna be arrogant and say i can take all their shit cuz im probably gonna get my ass kicked a few times while im there

  • Why is the first night the worst night?

  • @ACutAbove4603 One word "Confusion" You do not know what to expect and they WILL exploit that. Once you know what to expect it becomes routine, But the first night with little sleep(always happends one guy cannot hit the head after drinking 2 gallons and you all have to wait) the confusion always gets a few guys.

  • @ACutAbove4603 the ydont let you sleep for a few days and treat you like total wastes of life

  • @banannasticker sounds like fun, now im excited

  • @banannasticker sounds awesome me too i cant wait

  • Leaving 20120307 myself, can't wait!

  • @ACutAbove4603 Yes...you can. My RDCs were...wow.

  • the officer at 5:10 could not sound more enthusiastic about welcoming them to the navy XD

  • leaving for great lakes from cali 20120307 anyone else going around that time hit me up

  • I am a future sailor who is very nervous about PT. I still have like 138ish days until I ship to boot, but you can tell from all of my videos that I am just worried about PT at Boot... Anyone who has advice about it, TELL ME (unless it's something I already know which you would know 'cuz I've probably said it in my videos lol) =D any help is ultimately good though.

  • @bubblybrooke92 Seeing you are a female, I don't know the exact times you will need to run your PFA in... But its different than the males. Just run few times A week while you are DEP'd in. you will need to do your run in 1 1/2 miles. You and whoever your partner is, you both can cheat your pushups and situps lol... Just study your trainee guide, do good on your final PFA and you will graduate on time :P.

  • @bubblybrooke92 prepare to deal with a LOT of estrogen & attitude. ull be sharing a compartment with 60 other females. lol. PFA times: the MAXIMUM time u can run is 15min(but honestly that is soooo slow. try to get it under 13.) push ups 16 minimum, sit ups 50 minimum. also when you get beat... get good at mountain climbers, 8 counts. they will also help with ur overall fitness. take it one day at a time, and remeber THE FIRST NIGHT IS THE HARDEST PART OF BOOTCAMP.

  • @kingvic97 Yup, basically.

  • @RRFan1250 Not sure what you mean by "real Navy experience", but OCS is no joke. And yes it's true that Officer Candidates go to OCS, but that's for those who already got college degrees that either didn't do NROTC or are prior enlisted. Navy MIDN do not have to go to OCS because they got 4 (or more) years of training during their college career. And just so you know, I'm a prior enlisted Sailor who is going through STA-21 right now.

  • @huskerfaninaz so basically, bring nothing but the clothes on your back, follow rules to the letter, dont talk back and show up in good shape and if im not a total idiot i should pass?

  • @kingvic97 You can bring your cell phone btw, just you will have to put it in the box that you will be shipping back home once you get to diddy bag issue. Also, work on your running, if you are 17-19 you will be a Alpha Male, so you will have to run your PFA in 12:30. You will do 3 PFA's, the first 2 really don't matter but if you fail your 3rd you will get ASMO'd 2 weeks to the rear. Also study the shit outta the Trainiee guide you will take 3 tests at RTC and if you dont pass you will get ASMO

  • @krims0n70 Really good advice. I am a future sailor, and I am so nervous about PT... You can tell from my videos that that is what I am most worried about. Do you have more advice for PT things for Boot?

  • Does anybody know if Navy ROTC students ever do the basic training? I know that there are training sessions and drills on campus, but was wondering if at any point they ever go to Great Lakes for the "regular" training. Thanks!

  • @nerdystarwarsman1994 No man. Officer candidates never go to RTC unless they are going there for their duty station after they complete their schooling. What the officer candidates go through after their college time is done is called Officer Candidate School, which is basically just a bootcamp for future officers. I'm leaving January 5th and if you want the real Navy expierence then I would go in as enlisted, but hey man if you're interested in being an officer, all power to you.

  • 2:40 everyone always complains about that thing measuring you wrong

  • Gotta lose 30+ lbs to join... this video keeps me motivated

  • Hahahahaha

It's money. Most people who sign up, do so for the benefits. Uncle Sam is pretty generous in that department.

    :)

  • @sees2many haha thats why im joining ;)

  • @duncan7599 Don't be jealous because you can't do what they do. You are probably some fat fuck sitting behind your computer.

  • Look at all the sheeps who enlisted. Nothiong but whores to Uncle Sam.

  • @duncan7599 You're a dumbass.

  • @duncan7599

and look at you, probably never made a sacrifice in your life, still sitting in front of your computer all day long reading infowars

  • what do they bring in there packages when there getting off the bus?

  • u.s. but im a open minded person. if we lost big deal we lost.

  • i cant wait to go i ship in june next year im in the dep program

  • If you guys are worried about being yelled at then join the marines. I am currently in NROTC and I have to say that no one had a problem yelling at you. Even the CO (captain) yelled at a few midshipmen. But the marines were constantly yelling and anything we did they were expected to have perfected the first time. Believe me no service is easy. This movie is made to make people want to join cause it looks easy.

  • Wait WTF they get to do boot camp with women HOLY SHIT LMFAO ya definatly got the wrong service I can't find Drill instrcters yelling anywhere

  • Navy boot camp looks so damb easy i think I picked the wrong service damnit lol there drill instructers or what ever they are called don't even yell lol

  • @fbibarbie ur an idiot if you think its this easy .. they dont want to spoil it for you

  • @fbibarbie how did you even pass the ASVAB? You illiterate fucktard.

  • @SeanDaFawn ASVAB is so fucking easy thats how lol only a retard couldent pass it

  • @fbibarbie 96th percentile mother fucker!

  • @runig14 no lol i only got 81

  • @fbibarbie nice i got a 96. hence the mother fucker at the end of that statement lol

  • @runig14 very impresive I got fucked over with my jobs still though lol what job you got?

  • @fbibarbie what'd you get? i going into the nuke program

  • @runig14 Sounds like you will end up going where I went for tech school then soon to be petty officer 3rd class. Im in Air force Services which is cook, hotel lobbeyist, gym trainer and mortuary affairs all wraped up in one job which makes it fairly hard actually. But at Fort Lee Virgina are dorms were shared with navy personel who were training to be cooks. Guess what all the ones I met were in the nuke program but got kicked out because of how extremly difficult and stressful it is. good luck!

  • Damn on hour how do they that -_-

  • what are the weight limit for women, they all look overweight?? to much chub to me. That not fit at all.

  • @DICKCHINHARY 10 year Navy Vet...They're all fat man...fat fat fat! Fattest women in the service..They get pregnant, miss deployment, and have free babies on the gov't ..They are pretty much welfare hoe's in a uniform.

  • Wow, I can't believe all the service men and women talking all this mess and putting each other down!!! Is this what is protecting my freedom??? No service is a joke, no bootcamp is joke. No matter which branch you are you took an oath to protect this country and work together.

  • @jr2769 Actually yeah. If you were in the service that's ALL people do. They talk shit to each other in the same branch. "My job is better than yours" "You're a pussy" " People with this job are a bunch of FAGS.." etc. I was in the Navy I met a lot of morons, lazy fucks, fat-asses. I also met very few smart, well adjusted, hard working people. Navy was good: good food, great job, traveling, college tuition. But some of the most fucked up idiotic ppl on EARTH! Don't miss it one bit

  • @jr2769 I served in the Air Force. We called the Army stupid, dumb, and stunted with technology, and they called us weaklings and fatbodies. The Navy claimed that there were better with technology than we were(electronics a prime example). We called the Marines reckless and insane, and they called us lazy and non-combative("we get paid to get laid"). Nothing on the Coast Guard...

This is all "professional rivalry". I don't believe anyone has said that it's a candy land in the Armed Forces! :D

  • @jr2769 That because all the branches are compeating with each other so they try to smake eachother down alot. They compeat for funding from congress and for recuirts so each branch once to make the others look bad.

  • i saw the old one and now the new video, and they still make navyy boot camp sound soft. Lol

  • looks like a bunch of puzzies, no wonder we keep losing wars cause our recruits are all puzzies, without the high tech gear and all those air-power and overwhelming firepower, these recruits probably wouldn't last a day in Afghanistan without crying for mommy, they just look that way.

  • @strongbadassman

i'm sorry, what wars were you referring to again? Do you even know your history? Name one war that the United States has lost that was the Navy was failing to do it's job. Better yet, name a war that we've lost.

  • @jeremydeman Ever since WW2? All the major wars. I bet you didn't know that we lost over 3000 planes alone in Vietnam, war is define by objectives, when your objectives are not made and you made matters worst for yourself after a war, you have basically lost.

  • @jeremydeman Vietnam,korean, u.s. lost half of the wars

  • @jesuscruzchuy07 Politics lost those.

  • @Viking445 but stil a lost is a lost no matter what the reason is.

  • @jesuscruzchuy07 which country do you hail from?

  • Wow... HUGE HUGE DIFFERENCE compared to USMC Bootcamp.. LOL

  • @FutureMarine199218

Remember, The Navy are POGS. The Marines are Grunts. The Navy uses the big guns. The Marines uses small arms fire.

  • Just remember, when you get a pick of ship choose frigate or minesweeper.

You do more work but the rewards justify it. Also, there aren't any women on them.

For the ladies considering joining, don't. Go Air Force or somewhere else...

  • only about 2 more months till I ship out!

  • I cant wait either hooyah!

  • I can't wait to ship off!! Hooyah!!

  • atf/it

  • 3:22 she doesnt look very happy to be there lol

  • Does that guy have a hook on his hand? 6:03

  • in my opinion, it was kinda easy...but fmf corpsman is a different story or seal or our other special forces. people may wanna bash on us cuz they think were weak, but thats the airforce lol..nah seriously, without us theres no military

  • @kyback102 ...yea, it looks kind of easy and not as hard as the others..I was in the Air Force and there was alot more screaming and yelling!!! IDK....

  • @kincerar hell yea thats what im saying AF HUAH....def alot more screaming

  • @kincerar believe me, there is PLENTY more screaming and yelling than this video shows... this video also doesn't show the "IT (Intensive Training) sessions that RDC's are allowed to do whenever they want

and lol "high tech shoe measuring device" they give you some shitty New Balances...

  • @RS2iscool ....haha...Yea, I figure that...It's just like the recruiter saying that everything is going to be ok...lol

  • @e5wife You're a moron. This video doesn't even scratch the surface of Navy boot camp. You probably would give up and go home after a single IT session. The same goes for all the other pubescent 15 year old boys who want to say the marine corps is better because their boot camp is harder. My base has navy and marine corps personnel on it. I've seen many marines get destroyed by sailors both in the classroom and in fist fights. Marine boot camp videos look like summer camp in my opinion.

  • @USNDeadGear Are those sailors FMF corpsmen? They were trained to fight alongside with marines so there's no suprise that a trained corpsman can destroy a marine. Not all sailors are like that though.

  • @mingzl81065 totally agree, but u cant even compare bootcamps! cause i know my marine IT was worse than anything a sailor had to do

  • @mingzl81065 It was actually an IT.

  • @USNDeadGear Doesn't change the fact that most sailors are unable to destroy marines physically.

  • i'm leaving for bootcamp on 13 september 2011, after i'm going to nuclear power "A" school, thats what idk about, does anybody know what it's like?

  • @cfelice2191 long long hours of school most ppl fail out and go to I.T "A" school or the CT "A" schools

Just study and you will be good but you guys get worked to the bone on ships.

That's what i've gathered during my time in the navy and boot camp has changed drastically since I graduated May 26th so I can't tell you anything much just try and you'll be goood do not be the sailor who complains about not being able to cut it when they don't even try.

  • @cfelice2191 I am currently at Nuke A school waiting to "class up"(waiting to get enough people to form a class), but everyone here tells me that it isn't extremely hard material, just a shit ton of it in a short amount of time

also cfcm09 is wrong.... almost everyone passes A school and somewhere around 70% get completely through NNPT(complete all the schools), and most of the drop outs are for something other than academics.

if you do poorly they will do everything they can to help you

  • btw this is only the pc side of navy bootcamp that they want you to see, and it depends on divisions, personally my RDC's did scream at us 24/7 and we got IT'd almost daily, my RDC's loved it lol. but yeah there are some divisions that that never get IT'd. also this is an oldass video, they're still wearing the johnny cash's and utilities.

  • @MrGrenage I swear my chief was bipolar, one minute laughing and joking around with us the next minute was "YOU STUPID MOTHERFUCKERS, ON THE TOELINE! ONE TWO THREE FOUR FIVE SIX SEVEN EIGHT!" then he would ask us what we did wrong and most the time we didn't have a clue...

  • Remember everyone ,this boot camp is training civis into sailors NOT soldiers! or marines. So, all you trash talkers... now you know why there's not as much yelling in Navy boot.

  • That "technological equipment" looks really expensive and unnecessary. I've heard that the US military is just organized crime.

  • when would u get dog tags?

  • too the people talking shit about navy bootcamp...i find it upsetting that you feel you have the right to degrade another branch of the military just because you felt your was "harder" persay especially all you marines out there who think that just because your getting screamed at and IT'ed every min. its a different experience for people so who are you as an individual to say whether its easy or hard.and lets be honest NAVY SEALS will beat any other branches special forces

  • and as for you wannabe marines who got out of training. you obviously didnt learn a damn thing in boot. your gunny would beat your ass if he read what your writing about another branch. The marines have honor courage and commitment. just like the navy. so respect the other branch mr tuff guy.

  • @Fefizzy i agree with you 100% i went to marine corps bootcamp got discharged for a BS reason. I have nothing but the upmost respect for all branches especially marines and navy. im joinining navy next i dont care what others say. in my opinion serving your country is serving your country no matter how you do it

  • keep in mind this is a training video. and in no way is the navy a bunch of grunts. which is how the marines came about. but the select few special ops swic sar eod ect., and the best medical personel on the planet , Navy Corpsman, have to go through special training. the training is pretty easy physically if your physically active. but its made to build you mentally. Some people are on a submarine and ships for months at a time. let me see you stay in a confined place for so long. then talk.

  • Shit, I'm in the Air Force and even our Basic was about a 100 times more difficult than this paradise...

  • so... navy "drill instructors" seem awfully nice...

  • 22 Marines disliked this.

  • my freind went through navy bootcamp, and he admitted it was a fucking joke, but hey i aint hatin...i cant wait to ship to parris island south carolina...peace love and respect

  • @Zipper. I bet you couldn't hack it in the Marines and that is why you suck. If it wasn't for the NAVY, you wouldn't get paid. That is because you belong to the DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY, not the Marine Corps. You guys have to ask us for permission to do anything.

  • stop whining about how much tougher you are then the navy get over yourself no one cares

  • wow navy boot camp. PATHETIC. I did Marine Corps boot camp and this shit is a fuckin joke!

  • @zipper978 Understand it's just flat out training for everyone(which they assume will be on a ship). However have extensive combat training for combat jobs.(For example, a Combat Corpsman will go through a basic training very similar to yours, except with medical instruction on top of it, after going through this)

  • @zipper978 You're an embarrassment to the corps.

  • one hour workouts? lmao

  • As a poolee...in the Marines...I do most of this in my office...and just leading my platoon at my office....with them...all but for that running and punching bull shit...WOW..glad i kinda joined the Marines now...have to thank the navy though...thanks for the free Taxi ride on yall ships :)

  • @RidethewindOfWoW yeah man i bet ur really tough talking shit on youtube

  • @DJAMES2825 na i aint talkin shit...just sayin the truth

  • @RidethewindOfWoW your just a poolee bro...when you get to bootcamp your gonna be surprised on how much of a joke it is i guarantee it.i bet your gonna do more work at the office then at bootcamp

  • @Mr619BOii And if its a joke...I can at least say...that THIS is a bigger joke

  • @RidethewindOfWoW why? because your not getting screamed at 24/7? bootcamp in general is different for everybody bro it could be the hardest part of your military career or the easiest. it doesnt matter what branch i assure you

  • @Mr619BOii I just want to know one thing before i comment back to you...why do you feel the need to make a fight over everything I have said? And your not screamed at 24/7 you have your learning time where the DI will take his Kill Hat off and where you will study....And any sane person would at least that wants to join any real branch will see that getting screamed at is a little bit more ready for any kind of problems in the fleet since the yelling helps to make your mind think more clearer

  • @RidethewindOfWoW im not trying to fight im just saying if you havent been there you wont know...yeah you have time to think (limited time if any) believe me i would know ive been there my DI"s never let us think even when we were supposed to get our 1 hour a day they were still screaming around. im not arguing just stating that if your a poolee and havent even been a recruit yet then dont try to correct me

  • @Mr619BOii 2 things and them I am calling it good on this A) Never said anything about the "1 hour you get of peace" was saying about your class time where you learn about the Marine Corps and B) I never tried to correct you on any thing just made a statement and you went off for no reason

  • :0 woah no drill instructors :0 lmao

  • and i got lucky enough to avoid wearing the utilities

  • that brings back memories lol. they make it so pc in this video. and if you cant make it through navy boot camp you dont deserve to function in society

  • I'm going to b in the dry navy

  • I lied about having Asthma when I joined, and I made it to first phase of BUD/s. BTW I'm the short bald guy with the orange t shirt in this video. Want to know where I am now? Out of the fricken Navy. Screw those guys.

  • @secretporcupine did you make it through hell week?

  • @ChrisHobobin No I quit on the 3rd day of first phase. All the other guys you see in the beginning of the video were in my boot camp division and in my BUD/s class. Only a few of them made it.

  • @secretporcupine what made you quit? i'm joining the Marines so i'm not going to go through BUD/s.

  • @ChrisHobobin Just had enough of it. My knees were in dire pain, and you don't get much sleep. Your life will become engulfed with being a SEAL even in training.

  • @secretporcupine you didnt want it THAT bad i take it?

  • what will happen if someone didn't pass the swim test?

  • @katecao17 Then they will recieve additional instruction if they are not third class swimmers.

  • Do not lie about your medical history to get into my Navy. Honor, Courage, Commitment; these are not just words. If you lie, you don't belong. You also put yourself and others at risk.

  • @nickm16a2

lol wuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut? You totally lied about you having asthma?? You've made my day. I was so depressed over this and now I am happy. Thanks.

  • You retarded ass what are you doing with your life? How many babies Momma do you have and don't take care of? Show some sort of class about yourself, even if you don't have any show some respect for these young troops who will be something besides a couch tater, you have to be able to pass something called an asvab, then pass a pt test, plus a medical which from your comet it's out of your grasp as an individual, fat lazy retarded ass wont a be can't do,get a life!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Haha are they mostly female, are we allowed to fuck fleet members and ship mates (females)?3

  • How many females are usually in the navy? I see there's a lot in this video but I don't know that may be an exaggeration.

  • @SinSeared too many to count and if you're a male... don't worry about it

  • @qwerty123098ful

Do you mean don't worry about it, as in, they're mostly lesbians? I'm just worried I'll be getting none while doing a tour.

  • @SinSeared If you "want some" then be a pornstar!!! Otherwise, stay the hell away from the military.

  • @NatedogJr

I'm fucked anyways...I have asthma and I'm automatically disqualified because of that. Fuck the god damned world.

  • only 1 hour of pt? shit even my grandma can do that and ima join the navy

  • It was said in a joking manner. No basic is EASY , but it wasn't bone crunching , hate your life bad.

  • When I went to boot camp (In Orlando)we sent home everything and were not fitted for gym shoes. It's been so long but I think we had to bring gym shoes. I remember them throwing out many things we brought too, even if we wanted to send them home. We also had to call petty officers sir or maam. This was 1989 and I've heard the military isn't as strict now. Also, we had to be in shape.

  • Slept my ass right through this and went to EOD school lol.

  • @LurkerDanny no you didnt

  • Things sure have changed since I went to bootcamp! lol 1970 in Orlando

  • @edbouck dosent look very tough.. then again im joining marines..how was it in 1970?

  • love during the comissioning how the sailor in the back was the only to present arms! haha

  • So is the Navy boot-camp knowledge based? Looks like they study more than train. But of course I'm sure it's brutal to become a Navy seal.

  • @whuttube

PT is only about an hour out of each day, there is a lot of studying in boot camp. Boot camp is a little tougher for for those going into specialized warfare fields such as the SEALs and EOD but you would still be attending the same boot camp, the real work for these fields starts when boot camp is over.

  • @whuttube BUDS is after basic.

  • what the heck well one good thing they dont make recruits call petty officer Sir any more

  • wtf is this?!? This is not like the Navy Boot camp i went to. "special shoes"? we never got those. Sends your stuff you arrive in home to your family? nope. our shit went into a bag which we kept in our locker till graduation. And it stunk when we opened the bag. omg, i remember the P-day hallway of shots. haha.

  • This must be the kinder, gentler navy. We're gonna get our rears kicked 'fore too long.

  • @filoIII Ummm...Not really.

  • 3:26 sneezin in his hand

  • 1 hour a day workouts...jesus christ im in there lol

  • The girl at 2:55 has a HIM shirt!

    :D

  • women should have the same time and numbers as men, equality and all that crap.

  • @AQuietGamer equal pay for equal work, right?

  • This looks a lot different from what I was in boot camp in the mid 70s. We didn't have or an inside gym but then I was in San Diego which doesn't get snow. We didn't need to know how to swim just tread water for 20 minutes.

  • man i miss the johnny cash's though i do like the NWU's instead of the old painters uniform...NONE of my RDC's ever talked in calm collected tones like this! My div. was stuck in p-days for 2 weeks because our training group was cut, that was horrible, our RDC's wanted to smoke us so bad but couldnt. HOOYA 950!

  • HAHA i remeber the fucken P days i thought that was the hardest but once you get through that your good to go the rest is easy
