NASA say no such thing in fact they are so sick of their name being used to promote a crazy Doomsday scenario they made these videos and a section on their website to Debunk it.

A few years ago just after NASA launched a satellite to study the Sun better a massive solar eruption happened and it was strong enough to knock some satellites and make for some fantastic northern lights.

You can read sun spot activity and make predictions right now we have less sun spots that is one reason it is a cooler winter...

I don't see a reason to believe we will have a deadly solar flare. Enlighten me if you now something factual.
