While I'm not against having racial diversity within schools (In fact it's very important to me) some schools actually have a racial quota where they must accept so many people of different ethnicity. This isn't bad, but sometimes not enough deserving people apply one year, and the positions are given to less deserving students to fill the quota. This isn't particularly common, but it isn't the best solution.
