My vibrate button broke off about 3 weeks ago and I took it in to get repaired and they said that the moisture strip show that the phone has been dropped in water. My problem is that where I work it is very humid and every phone that has had that strip in it has triggered to look like it got wet. The Phone works fine I just wanted to get the button fixed.....Got turned away at the store..but calling Apple and with My AppleCare they will now fix or replace my phone for free.
Nice that it got local coverage, though I wish it went national, like CNN. Apple still isn't budging from their poor design as the 3GS still have the strips in the same open places!
