Clearly Montoya's fault. He lost control of his car all by himself, drifted up into Stewart causing him to lose control of his car. When you race that hard, stuff like that is gonna happen! Just another example that super-speedway racing is a lot harder than it looks.

I believe the down force aspect, the nose of these cars are almost touching the ground so you cant do that much. They're very strict regulations, all adjustments are made by hand. The tries wear differently then any other racing series. Its more of a driving game, then pure car

When 2 cars are traveling next to each other at a high rate of speed, the air picks up underneath and starts picking up on the car. This isn't a give and take situation they are both side by side. Give and take is when the nose of one car is to the tail of another and the guy in front wants to move up high and the guy in back just doesn't let him in with like 190 laps remaining.

its almost as if F1 took a big shit in NASCAR's face. everyone was fed up with JPM for his recklessness (among other things), so instead of driving for a bad team he switched to nascar, and is now fucking it up. the same exact thing could very well have happened with jacques villeneuve.
the pinnacle of motorsports thanks NASCAR for being their toilet bowl. being the best does have its advantages, doesnt it?

Great racing. Montoya's usually a HORRIBLE driver...but this time it was just hard racing, and Tony has done this MANY times. Both of them are loose hammers......pretty much every time they get behind the wheel......especially Montoya.
