About your running away from fights problem: it's the Tonberry and Elder Drake fights you can't run away from. Everyone else you can, including post Floor 80 Chacs!! Just for future reference DK, I know from experience.

What's funny about using Rikku as a healer is that in the original Final Fantasy 3, Dark Knights we're called Mystic Knights or Paladins. They don't have the Darkness attack, but they can use low level white magic spells, and yet they still have a demon set.

Yuna has a gunner move that attacks as a magic attack. You can use that again physical immune for 9999 at least.

Only thing they did BAD on this game:

The magic queue, have you noticed it?

Even if your magic has a really tiny load time, if the enemie's casting, you have to wait... but physical attacks can go straight away, as long as you're not being targetted

1. It's possible to avoid all the major onscreen dangers of the Via Infinito (the Elder Drakes and Mega Tonberries). How to go about it depends on the floor layout (i.e. taking a longer path, making a platform appear, going around them, going down some "steps" as opposed to just dropping in on the MT).

2. PLEASE say that your strategy guide book acknowledges the Mi'ihen Highroad Fiend Colony. If it doesn't, then I say just chuck it and refer to a GameFAQs guide for the rest of your playthrough.
