I agree with you. however, many African countries actually have smaller income gaps than for example the United states. Nonetheless that probably says more about America than it does about Africa. Check "Income gap" on Wikipedia.
The music is awesome, which is typical of african culture. But just showing pics of big buildings isnt a sign a country is doing good or developed. My favourite capital cities are Cairo, Accra and Addis Ababa.
It doesn't surprise me Africa has so many splended sites and that's what makes our continent so attractive in terms of structure, design, economics and self-dignity.
