  • Rescue 3 isn't in that house anymore they have theyre own house with Collapse Rescue 3 which uses the same men

  • We do what we do because of the love of the job and our willingness to always be ready to help those in need.

  • It truly hurts my heart to watch these old FDNY videos, Knowing that so many of the firefighters in these videos made that ultimate sacrifice without the slightest hesitation on 9/11. God bless them and may they R.I.P

  • Its one thing to be a firemane..its another to be a FDNY fireman..

  • Wow! Burnt cookies!-__-

  • Christopher Blackwell of Rescue 3 was the last interview heard on this video. He was killed on 9/11/01.. RIP brother, you will be missed.

  • @jamesmkalbaugh Chris was my cousin and i will always miss him. I myself am a cop in Baltimore and am just hitting my 20th year a milestone i believe Chris had just hit prior to 9/11. Our whole family has been involved in public service. It is a noble thing we all do to serve our communities. RIP all who gave the ultimate sacrifice, and be safe all my brothers and sisters.

  • this an awesome video! i hope you come across more old FDNY videos

  • the days of 3/4 boots, a coat and Helmet

  • Gut.

  • The good old days boy are these gone

  • "We got 3, 2, & the Rescue with multiple phone calls, sounds like we got a job"

  • My Uncle was a firefighter in the Bronx and he told me "what a shit hole".You have the slum lords and abandoned buildings where drug addicts shoot up.They start fires to get the cash from insurance or the druggies starting fires while getting their fix.As far as the food, this is bullshit, the city should pay for their food. It's the least they can do,since they pay these fire fighters shit money.GOD BLESS THE FDNY.

  • Great video, man how the rules have changed. Riding on the truck like that, no air tank ETC.

  • Thanks, Jamie.

  • I remember this series. I also remember attending Al Ronaldson's funeral back in '91. Looking at some of the faces on the 9/11 poster at the firehouse, I recognise some in this video who were lost on that day. RIP brothers. Thank you for this video.

  • I remember watching this video when I joined as a vollie back in 1994.

  • Nice 5+*

  • love them!

  • keep em coming
