  • The tree crash is amazing. Spot on just bang right into it :D Thank you for not editing it out. ^^

  • @lootcher Haha, I know right! Rule no 1 don't look where you don't want to go. I had a mad scrape on my face for a few days after this lol.

  • Hey man, don't know if anyone has suggested this or not, but if you put something between the sliding mount and the chest plate for the gopro, it helps take out that clicking noise they get. Something like a tissue or napkin seems to work well.

Keep up the good videos :)

  • @Greenytica Thanks for the tip mate, but the clicking was coming from the chest strap of my camelback hitting the mount.

  • Nice work showing your crashes and having a laugh about them. A lot of people just show their 'A' runs but not the crap ones. The Go-Pro looks like it captures some sweet footage - good job. Can't wait, I'm going out there on Saturday to do some training circuits on the comp trail ... time to stop being a fat bastard. :)

  • @chrisrnz I keep my videos honest lol. Watch the gravel on the decent on the State trail, it's fairly slippery if you are pinning it. Good luck getting fit, I think everyone needs to get fitter before Christmas arrives =P

  • @ikearocks12 Haha no worries. I've ridden the comp trail before so it should be all good (raced XC for years so I have a rough idea what I'm doing, I guess ... lol). :)

  • AWESOME video dude! I rode that trail 3 weeks ago, chose the A line and came off on the second last drop off.....foot came out of the pedal, but somehow managed not to hit a tree. I'm hoping the boys construct more trails like this up around the quarry trail, the run down to east/west fire road would be amazing!

  • @suspensiondude Thanks for watching. I'm not too keen on the last drop off, havn't gotten my skills back since I had surgery. I hate it when you get pedal slip, feels so unco lol. It would be amazing to have a run down from the quarry, it would be fast as!

  • a bit more work and this will be awesome. I agree it's pretty jarring on a hard tail, those trees as super close.

  • @electricdyslectric Yeah I can't wait till it's finished!

  • That looks gnarly.. So much for you staying off road for a year :P How tall are those drop off, they look big..

  • @tehcarlo 1-2 foot drops.. I wish I still had the Jamis lol.

  • Nice footage, awesome trail!!! Did you used a Gro-pro?

  • @Kamerak73 Yeah I used a GoPro HD in 720p mode (60fps) and had it mounted on my chest.

  • Sorry about the clicking noise, I'll fix that next time.
