To solve the transportation problem/cost for some potential restaurant clients, why not a horse-drawn vehicle to pick up and drop off? Hee hee hee! I can hear the lawyers and insurance people already arguing about this! A kind of hayride shuttle or something! Mules! Donkeys! Hee hee hee hee hee!

@ChuckwagonCowboy It could be just like a contest or something, like monthly. Everyone who eats in the restaurant gets to enter into the draw. You have to admit, it would be good PR. The animals would be treated very kindly and all traffic laws would be observed, a permit obtained. Make the local administration look like good guys for helping this along. You can tell I used to do PR and corporate communications, right? I think the "something different for very little money" idea is good.

@OHtheFAM Thanks and we need to get back to basics with a good quality eatery. Times are tough and the 5 star places, albeit are nice are costly and unaffordable to many.

Uprated. You have a good shot at it. I don't agree with the comment about grilling only. You seem to do a combination of inside/outside cooking that's very appealing. A family atmosphere & low price will help, even extending the activities to be educational & hands-on to the extent practical & legal. Iceland has a supervised play area for kids so the parents can relax once the young ones have filled their small bellies & gotten bored. It's relaxing! Cooking workshops? Potential!

@slobomotion If you saw my rebuttal to the person's comments, you see it's all about perception. I just think we need a more laid back, relaxed family place with good homestyle food and interaction. I know there are a couple other "chains" out there that have that same rustic and "homestyle" menu, but they leave me cold, quite frankly. I want a place where people say "WOW" when they leave and tell their friends about. Thanks as always for your kind comments!

@ChuckwagonCowboy People are really thinking about stretching the dollar. Something they know is inexpensive, wholesome and more interactive somehow, within reason, as a combination of entertainment via fun atmosphere would be a draw. The Pennsy Dutch restaurants have a homey, trad setting and the outing & meal are more an "event." Even though it's simple, basic fare. The space does not look modern or plastic. This becomes a choice for a family gathering. Fun!

@2024JayZ I think you're missing the whole point of my name. The modern day "Chuckwagon" is the kitchcn. The Cowboy was the "cookiie" for the unit he was with, much like the family unit of today. The meals were easy and simple, as I demonstrate with my K.I.S.S. (Keepin It Short & Simple) style of meals. You're taking in literal context, which is fine. I just wanted to explain MY modern day interpetation of it and how it fits into my lifestyle. I do thank you for the comments and support!
