I almost wanted to cry when Haseo lost control over Skeith and Skeith Data-Drained Magus, just because of Kuhn's scream when he got hit. Kuhn is one of my favorite characters in the .hack series.
Maybe I wanted to cry because Kuhn has the same VA as Ichigo on Bleach, and hearing Kuhn scream made me think of Ichigo dying.

@shinnuXIII true, but he hardly ever does any games anymore (i assume...). but your friend has his own ideals and i don't blame him for just geting sick of him voiceing to many characters. i don't mind him( johney young bosh), but he is being overused a bit, even so he voices the characters he plays as quite well.
@ssjmega Yeah, you're right. He is being overused, but he is still a great voice actor! I remember him most from Ichigo in Bleach. I have found Johnny Young Bosh voicing so many characters that it does get a little repetivitve, but he is damn good at every single one!

I say all the themes in the originals are better for all the bosses.
But otherwise, GU outclasses the originals almost everywhere (wide range of Item variety is the only thing that wins outright in the original, but I like that the most; side missions are the other original winner, but not by much.)
Say...doesn´t the scene where Skeith goes berserk kinda reminds you of Evangelion, when the EVA-01 turned berserk too? If i recall, there´s some people in the game´s staff which worked in the production of Evangelion...Is that right?

yeah thats true, i mean in the end they couldve have put that same cutscene they did when you beat magus, and instead of data draining skeith you would just need to get his HP to zero to trigger that scene.

This is because Skeith went out of control and so you are unable to control him/yourself. I agree there wasn't much to ohh and ahh about but I think it made since.

Kuhn/Magus! :D I could still hear Azure Kite's theme though, even in avatar like form. Azure Kite's theme is like my favorite battle song, especially since he's cool.

actually most of the themes used for the phases in GU are remixes from the original ones, thats the reason some of them sound a bit familiar
