An example of prophesy would be if someone said in 2 years there will be an earthquake. Prophesying is God giving us a heads up of what will happen in the future, giving us specific information of the future so that we may prepare.
A man can prophesy AND preach because he was given the Word of God to help dive deeper in the meaning of the prophesy. Women can be prophetess, which mean at time she will be given a message from God telling of a future event... however she was not given the right to preach by God, so therefore she can only speak what she heard and thats it.

@chevytheplayer My freind there is only one church that is not false, it was established by Jesus. It is one, it is apostolic, there are only two church that fit that bill, Orthodox and Catholic, just some help for you.

As ministers of the Gospel we are called to preach the Good News "the saving grace of God through Christ Jesus, teaching people to repent in order to receive salvation and then perfect them, helping them to mature into the image of Jesus Christ. You asked "what do u Preach but prophesy" so tell me when your reading Old Testament your predicting the future? How are you predicting the future ,when preaching, if its already written in front of you in the Scriptures?
An example of prophesy would be if someone said in 2 years there will be an earthquake. Prophesying is God giving us a heads up of what will happen in the future, giving us specific information of the future so that we may prepare.

Women can be prophetess, which mean at time she will be given a message from God telling of a future event... however she was not given the right to preach by God, so therefore she can only speak what she heard and thats it.

@chevytheplayer I am a Born Again Christian who am a housewife. I was Born Again in 1988 at home kneeling at my bedside. Bound by sin and on my way to hell. I cried out to the Lord Jesus for I knew if I was going to get free, He would have to save me for I couldn't save myself. My walk with God through the years led me to the understanding of the Cross and I didn't hear any preacher preaching it until I hear Brother Swaggart in 2002..that's why I started listening to him.

Women can evangelize all day long! Technically and theologically speaking, the first evangelist was the woman that Jesus met at the well. But if God has called and anointed woman in these last days to deliver His truth. Who are we to say no or stand in the way? Gods business is to change people by way of His word. That means you can be a queen, governor, president, etc and be doing God's will.... however the only thing that God specifically made CLEAR is that women cannot preach, and the men of God all abide by that law.

@chevytheplayer Sure the church is built on Christ thus it is Christian, but it is also "Built upon the foundation of the apostles." (Ephesians 2:20) So the church must be apostolic.
It must "stand fast; and hold the traditions which you have learned, whether by word, or by our epistle." (2 Thessalonians 2:15) So yes it must be orthodox, meaning correct teaching.
The church must be one universally teaching the same traditions that it was taught be Christ and the apostles, or catholic.

@chevytheplayer 1) We don't pray to staues and images. We honor and vernerate the images like the the holy ones ones of Israel did in the temple of Jerusalem.
2) The apostle are one with GOD, and to disobey the apostles(as they where sent from GOD) is the same as disobeying GOD.
3) The bibles makes it rather clear that Jesus set up a church as he say, "I will build my church" and the bible is not the pillar and foundation of truth, "the church of the living GOD" is.

2) The apostle walked with Jesus and LEARNED from Him, but they are not "one with God" because if they were why did Judas betray Jesus, also why did Paul speak out again Peter's behavior?
3) The scriptures are God's Word... Jesus said Himself "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them."

@chevytheplayer 1) The commandment is you shall have no other GODs before me. If you are no allowed to make a graven image then you can not have a baby as they are in the image of GOD. The probley is your interpritation..the right interpritation says you may not worship images.
2) Yes they are one with GOD read John 17:20-26...Paul spoke agaist Cephas the diciple, one of the 70, not Peter the apostle, a common protestant mistake.

Why are you bringing babies into this? Babies aren't being worshiped, if they are its wrong too. God is spirit and specifically said No man can say they have seen God, so who's image are they worshiping if no one seen God?
2) YES Paul Paul criticized Peter and Barnabus for not eating with the Gentiles... read the scripture before you speak

@chevytheplayer Furthermore you should do some research on how you got your bible,(you don't think it fell from the sky do you) in fact it came from council of the Catholic church in 393 A.D. It was put together using holy tradition, and the guidance of the holy spirit.

Oh yeah, we know the catholic church messed with the scriptures and took things out, and luckily Pastor Gino has remade the scripture to put those book they too out back in
Now again I have to say, the scriptures do not contradict... its writings from many different men, in different culture, from different time periods and they all have the same message and NONE of it contradicts NO WAY man could do that

@chevytheplayer Intresting seeing as how the Catholic church used the same old test scriptures the apostles used, the Septuigent, in which they quoted from 300 times while writting the new test. So tell me by what authority did Pastor Gino change the scripture the apostles used?
I never said the scriptures contridict..they are the word of GOD.

And we are to "stand fast; and hold the traditions which you have learned, whether by WORD(holy tradtion), or by our epistle.(holy scripture)" (2 Thessalonians 2:15)..sola scriptura is easly disproven it was a doctrin made by man, namley Martin luther in the 1500s, that none of the Saints before him had ever hear of, practised, nor believed.

God won't support something He is against.If ur gonna use 2 Thessalonians, at least read the whole thing... just above 2:15 its talking about deceivers... as a matter of fact you need to read verses 9-12 and look at what your saying
The oldest scripture is the etheoptic bible, and it says the same thing the one today says so why are you saying that man wrote the scriptures?

@chevytheplayer 3) Actually the oldest bible is the Latin Vulgate..The scriptures do have the hand of man in them, tho of course the holy spirit worked through these men. SOLA SCRIPTURA is a doctrin created by man, I think your getting my words confused, you do know what sola scriptura is don't you?... It's one of your main doctrins...It is also a word for word contridiction..so is Sola fide, another man made doctrin by Martin Luther..."Not by faith alone" James 2:24

Anything that was made by man is not of God, the scripture plainly say the the scriptures were of no private interpretation... so if you say that Man "had a hand" in the scriptures then you are saying God is wrong
A book that has stories, teachings, etc that came from almost all over asia, africa, the middle east and europe over a span of hundreds if not thousands years and they manage to maintain ONE unified message, of man was using his own words, you would see it

You see the reason I know it is a private interpritation, is becaues no believer for the first 1500 years ever had the interpritation you do. The all had one mind, one faith, one baptism.

THIS IS WHAT I MEAN, just cause you read the scriptures and have a good feeling afterwards, doesn't mean you are qualified to determine who is, and who is not of God because you yourself don't know Him. Many people confuse serving God with having a good feeling
For example praying and obeying is serving God, "praise dancing" is having a good feeling, thinking you're serving God.

Chevy my brother I agree and I like what you said about the feminist movement. Im not trying to be funny nor do I mean to offend anyone but THE WORD must not be taken out of the context that it was writtern in. The Bible never says that women did not have important roles in a day in the life of the one who is the bread of life. The bibe teaches that she has NO authority 2 teachn the church. While Jesus was alive the church was just a promise that didn't get fulfilled until He died on the cross.
