impressive, ive always had training chucks laying around my room (if thats what you call them) but never really thought to learn to use em. looked cool when you were spining it fast and you didnt loook like all those other idiots that try to look cool. good rythm.
Cool videos. I've been doing various martial arts for a bit and learnt some time ago that looking cool and winning a fight aren't not the same. Having learnt the wrist role I'm kind of starting ti think that the wrist role is unnecessary and if anything simply provides an opportunity to drop your weapon.
Martial arts is meant to be fun however. I suspect if had a real fight with a pair of nunchucks I'd probably be going to prison.
I thought so too but i made air loop nunchaku for that. They can be taken apart real easy and secured tightly, perfect for police, and they would look like 2 separate batons with a short loop of string on top
the whole idea of the speed/pro "chux" is decreasing variables and allowing u to have closer control by not dealing with bearings and chains and things so in short yes many people like them better
yeah these are Speed Chucks, but the design is apparently ripped off from Lee Barden's Pro Chucks. Pro/Speed Chucks have a lot more control & apparently are more versatile although they seem a little more restrictive. He has a video explaining the differences between the two.
If you prefere these type of Nunchaku, Barden's probably one of the best.
Oh n he answers your comments if you have questions etc. Seems decent if you don't go spouting mindless crap like most do on here
good video while i do study tae kwon do-mu du kwon. We mostly use bo staff and the dual sticks (forgot what they're called) i have been interested in using other weapons which we have not taken liberty to study katana, cane, nuncucks etc. So i do enjoy watching these vids
This technique doesnt work the same with all nunchucks. It all depends on chain length. I use ones with a longer chain and it makes them harder to control but it also gives them supperior reach.
it's much easier when you have no chain
