@nickgnaime If you notice, the 4x4 cut a few corners prior to the overtake...... if the rider had been paying more attention the the road AHEAD, then warnings were given many hundreds of yards before the overtake. I drive a fully laden high sider daily, and sometimes, to minimise the load shifting, I straighten the bends in this way. How do you know this guy didn't have 30,000 fresh eggs in the back? Would you like to explain to your boss that some numpty on a bike caused you to spill a load?

Bollocks. he was using all the road, just like you, but keeping his speed down. If you kept to the speed limits and imagined that all other drivers are out to kill you, you won't get stressed by their actions. Think about other road users next time, or end up as a bunch of flowers at the roadside.

@MAPFWH there's a difference between passing slow cars on a bike in a non-blind turn because the bike wants to go faster -- than a 4x4 truck attempting to cut off a motorcycle just to spite the motorcycle. The difference is life and death, night and day, black and white. We aren't out there to make the drivers mad or nervous, we are out there to have fun. When they cut us off as we are passing, that's them being angry and attempting to injure or kill us. But that is why we ride offensively.

I had the bad feeling not to long ago. Me and a friend were on our dualsports up in the mountains and were pushing them pretty hard playing with a couple people on sport bikes. I was in front of my friend and behind the sport bikes and I was focused on the bikes in front of me and couldn't hear my friends bike. After a few corners I glanced back and he wasn't behind me. I freaked out and did a u turn and went back. I found him standing next to his bike in the ditch. Scared the hell out of me.

Well. between 5:20:5:22 on right side, the small one near corner. If theres no any warning sign about this corner, I think that if you or someone other would contact to road safety council etc and ask from them if they would put up there a warning sign (if theres one, i didnt see it) to warn about that corner. Could prevent some crashes from happening there in future.

There is an arrow sign pointing right, but it should be a S turn sign or a 15mph turn sign instead...because people think it's just a right turn so they take the right as fast as they can...but then there's a switchback downhill left immediately after you get through the right...dangerous.

If you damage your bike slightly, best thing to do is leave it parked on that corner for a bit, eventually another biker will bail on that corner and hit your bike, then you can claim on his insurance :-)
