You got to be shitting me! That was a college diving competition? Everyone I my sophomore diving team in highschool could dive better than that. And since when do guys not wear speedos at meets.

@wileypayote Actually, this is a high school diving competition. In Western NC, diving isn't a huge sport (as far as I know) and most every diver makes it to Regionals and a lot of people even make it to State from there. I am not sure why the one kid is in white trunks and I understand that speedos are the best for movement, but some guys just like wearing the jammers. There are a lot of rules (such as no body paint) but nothing about the swimsuit that I know.

I miss HS Diving!! I did cringe on a good amount of those...feet not together, not straight, arching in the back, the gymnast rotation...of all the sports I've had the most fun in diving

...can't say I miss the flamboyant boys in the speedos though...but the diving ladies...mmmmmmmm

Oh gosh, there were worse ones. I was ESPECIALLY sad when my camera died right before a belly flop. State diving in NC wasn't much better either... :P

Haha... it's sad that a lot of the male divers are incredibly flamboyant... especially when they have really nice bodies... ^^

But then you have those who aren't exactly...well shaped...but still incredibly flamboyant...an ugly pale flabby diva acting all hard because they take year-long diving camps and I still beat them after only doing 2 seasons of diving...bragging much? very much.

Ironically, the winner of states my senior year was this football player from a really hick high school.

Feet first dives are some of the hardest ones to do. Mostly cause there are so many ways to mess up... but yes. There are legal dives entering feet-first.

I've watched a lot of diving things, I don't dive personally, but I know what diving is. The main differences are:

A. Age, my divers are from high school.

B. Height, my divers go off of a one meter board and yours I think goes off of a ten meter...
