A few minutes after leaving the kookíca with my husband, I realized this movie had no cursing, no explicit sex scenes or outright nudity, no gratuitous or gory violence-- and yet it was roundly entertaining to a two adults who normally avoid what could be characterized as "family entertainment".

@azizrahmad Did you watch the entire movie? There are some color scenes in it, but at first it's completely B&W for a while until she starts doing lots of photoshoots and goes to Florida.

@RavenwoodLamenti I watched the entire movie. I got it from torrent and it's entirely B&W. Even the first scene of this trailer (Bettie asks someone in the beach to photograph her) is also B&W in my copy version. I don't know, maybe I have to search another torrent.

Anyway it's a very good movie. Gretchen is way more beautiful than real bettie page. I thought people who become pinup models must be desperately needs money. I never thought that there are people who really love to be pinup model

I think this film is one of the best made...imagine perfect world and yourself in it, imagine unforgettable journey???!!! Its pulled off brilliantly by the magnetism of everyone involved. There are also some brilliant set pieces. Never get tired of watching this movie. I saw it for free at kòòkica and recommended it!

I liked the movie , and Gretchen did a really good job, she looked great! But I feel the movie could have explored her life even more, maybe gone a bit deeper into her more turbulent years. It only really showed a period of about three or four years in her life, when she was in her prime , but as she got older she had a really tough time. she was in a mental hospital and even stabbed her landlord and was very depressed. They glossed over all that.

Before I got my computer, I used to look for nice looking women in mainstream DVDs. I know, I know, I'm a perv, but listen: There's a lot of hotness in this Bettie Page movie. I have a memory of her posing naked in the woods. Really sexy!

I like seeing girls get spanked, but the real Bettie Page loops of it seemed too phony.

Brilliant film! I loved how it was filmed the way it would have been filmed for it's time and the actress playing Bettie...why, if I didn't know any better, I'd say it was Bettie Page herself! Great interpretation of her life.
