@bIuecrimson There are a few reasons, like the fact that videos stay in the "most viewed" of the day for 48 hours from the time they're put up, and most people watch stuff on YouTube on Friday & Saturday, and the video needs a bit of time to get viral... it all came out of a study at a university.

@zeus151000 Processing time depends on a number of factors, including the length of your video and the file size. But sometimes it's just glitching and you need to re-upload... if it's taking longer than normal I suggest you just cancel and start again!

hey people, Ive got 1.086GB file and after 7 days of uploading it still wont upload. Imean it is still uploading in one window but on the other stacked window I have the my videos uploaded so I can see whether vid has been uploaded or any error occured. So yup, there is error, after 7 days of uploading, but in the other window with the progress bar the video is still uploading! I`m confused, shall I stop uploading process or wait? HelP! I want to sleep!

One thing I do when uploading is set the video to private and allow it to finish processing before I go public. I do this because people were watching the video right away and if the video hasn't processed fully (Can take awhile) the visual quality of the video appears to be poor. Plus, this allows you to present your video at whatever time of the day you want. -Steven-

Ya, good point - I do that too. As soon as the processing is done I make it live though. The daily honors start from when it's uploaded, not when you make it public, so it's best to get it up asap if you want to register on that! :-)
