The donkeys are never withheld from having food, they eat all day long in the trailer, they are never in the trailer more than a day. if they mess on the floor we use a shovel and a mop to clean it up :) they can carry up to 2 times their body weight. They love what they do, always waiting at the gate to go!
ya i have to agree. i'da called animal cruelty. overall i laugh at a lot of animal videos on here when people comment that it's cruel, etc. but this here - these animals aren't meant for this at all, its not even remotely humorous, they seem confused, kicking, etc, not only that but you all are lucky you didn't get hurt by them. they kick hard. you guys look like strong fellas though - maybe volunteering for Habitat for Humanity or something like that would have been a better idea.
Donkeys well taken care of? stuffed into trailers and driven long hours with no food or water so they won't soil the gym floor? ridden by too heavy, inexperienced riders, being drug around? with screaming crowds? Well taken care of donkeys don't like this treatment and you need to think this through. These are living animals not bumper cars, would you let anyone treat your family dog this way?
@thinice53 Oh hush. If you trailer your donkeys to a vet you're a hypocrite now. Donkeys are bred to carry weight! They can carry 20 to 30% their body weight, hence why they are used as pack animals. If the donkeys truly cared about the noisy crowd they'd bolt as fast as they can to get out. None did that and in one of your videos you're desensitizing two of your donkeys with a bag. Since you're calling a loud crowd cruel I'm calling your bag training methods cruel. It's the same thing!
@thinice53 Soo... waaaiit... If you had a donkey you would never show it, never trailer it, never ride it and never lead it? I don't think this is an instance of poorly cared for animals, but poorly trained animals. And. let's face it, training is an innate form of animal cruelty that we're all okay with. (Really, we take a perfectly okay animal and mold it to fit our expectations).

Shame on you! Shame on your school! Shame on your parents for letting you engage in cruelty and inhumane treatment of donkeys. Haven't you heard? animal cruelty is bad, the donkeys are not having fun, you are learning to be a bad person who abuses animals. This is disgusting.
@chrisleepierce - oh? So they like it so much they try to run away from the riders, tries to get them off, and kick them? I think you need to learn something about donkeys behavior.
It is mean but if you have an opinion say it nicely instead of picking on thince53 she is a respectable donkey trainer and has a right to her opinion
