Sadly, you'll never get a much of a major Dr Who reunion episode again. Now that William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton and Jon Pertwee are no longer with us.
It's nice to see Hurndall got some credit, as he was a near carbon copy of Hartnell!
I agree with BadNews88, the sound on Who always seemed to have the best editors around, especially considering the primitive technology the Radiophonic Labs had to work with even in the 1980s.
@kapinou It's because that's when this new version was created. I think the 1999 DVD release is a slight re-edit of the new version produced for BBC Video in the 90s.
The original transmitted version of TFD was released on BBC Video in the 80s and recently on DVD.
@Borusa1976 Copyright doesn't work that way. As it was a new presentation of material they needed a new copyright notice. The 1995 VHS special edition release has a split set of closing credits with all the 1995 work in the second section and no copyright on the 1983 section.
@benlroberts No it was a singel part episode that lastet at the lenghth of a four parter,it was a reward for the fans and it was an anniversery special.
5th Doctor. 'Why not? after all that's how it all started.

Why does that have a 1999 date at the end of it?
hoggys2much 1 year ago
@hoggys2much Well, I took it from the 1999 DVD, which is the special edition of the story, but I'm not sure why they put that date in it :/

@kapinou The original people of the 1983 cut didn't like the new cut so they had to make it copyrighted 1999 to get it on DVD.

@kapinou I think they put 1999 in it because it was only remastered and remade into special edition in 1999. Before that it was a four parter.
I think so anyway.

@benlroberts it was always a single story.
