  • i love how the camera people just stand there and watch ...but i guess they shouldn't interfere in a situation with a drowning baby elephant -_-

  • LMAO 0:37 The elephant that walks up.

    "There. I helped."

  • my sister having a bath

  • Animals were put on this earth to PROVE our humanity.

It's BECAUSE they are of a lower intelligence than ourselves, that we should treat them with respect and care.

Those that do not (ie: Korean and Chinese dog markets....HORRIFIC!) will reap what they sow.

Just like the Japanese did for slaughtering whales and dolphins, when a tsunami hit and washed them away.

  • lovely video, just demonstrates once again how amazing elephants really are...it has been proven that they are just as intelligent as chimps, dolphins!!!

  • 1:16 Not a fuck was given that day

  • whats cool is that the elephants noticed they were unable to use their long horns to bring in the baby and they found another strategy to go around in a circle and then use their front power to push it out and god damn it, it worked like a charm. I like seeing this on a psychology level how these animals will notice a situation and then think ahead at least one turn from a gaming perspective and life is a sure a game.

  • @endlessmountain notice even how they gather together to help!!

  • @endlessmountain

That's why I consider elephants to be among the smartest animals in out world. Maybe even on the same level as a chimpanzee. It's these tightly knit family groups that they have, it's facinating.

  • 😊

  • 😃

  • Protective mother

  • You can tell which one is the teenager in this , lol. He went to have a drink!!!

  • wow. they just walked him right out! even an animal knows the value of a life =)

  • 🐘

  • Way happened nothing

  • Aww yaaaay!!

  • It wasn't literally drowning. Just stuck...

  • 2:24 elephants perform CPR

  • This is so touching.

  • someone smart enough to get in the water

  • Bet they wish they had a pair of hands instead of a big nose

  • Awwwwwwwww

  • I fell into the deep end of the pool when I was little once....my mom thought it was funny.

  • Elephants are beautiful amazing animals. They are one of the few that show emotion and compassion. For an example, if a member of the herd dies, the entire herd will grieve. They are are also known to bury their dead, which is another example of how they grieve for the loss of their family member.

This little one is very lucky!

  • *Elephants In The Back*

    Shit Just Got Real. .____.

  • WOW WOW...I so agree humans have a lot to learn..how they all came to help...sooo nice

  • I love that one elephant that just keeps on drinking

  • @de5188041 well the one drinking was a newborn so he was proabaly thirsty

  • awwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • Takes a village to raise a child.

  • You stay over there now and Mama WILL BRING the water TO YOU!! Geesh, kids.

  • HEY HEY HEY THIS IS ABOUT THE ELEPHANTS LOVE TO ONE ANOTHER AND HOW WE AS HUMANS DON'T SHOW THIS LOVE AS MUCH AS WE CAN LEAVE GOD OUT OF IT BECAUSE IF YOUR ARGUING FOR PEACE YOU KNOW INCLUDING RELIGION IN AN ARGUMENT CAN LEAS TO WAR

  • @jugalicious123 it was me that brought the topic up and i appologize for that

but the religious peoples top argument is "whithout god, where do you get your morals?"

and i cant help but to think about that argument while watching videos like this

  • As an atheist and a Bsc in biology. There is thing called MOTHERLY INSTINCTS which is an Extended Phenotypic effect. Morality does not come from nowhere except Natural Selection, organisms with no empathy to it's own kind would come extinct faster than I can type this comment. (metaphor intended)

  • @FreeeeS i agree

we help each other not because some imaginary sky daddy says we should,we help eachother because in the long run somehow it helps us

i dont need a deity to tell me that killing people is bad,and that im not only hurting the person i kill but i hurt those who loved them

  • meh...

  • They don't know god because they cannot understand people's language but still they can help us..everything has advantages and dis advantages

  • here you are witnessing an act of morality, from creatures who know nothing of god

  • @coltsrule5150 How do you know they know nothing of God?

  • @zeystube then why dont you go convert them?

  • @zeystube god is a man made comcept

dreamed up by sheep herders 1500 years before modern science

  • @coltsrule5150 I agree with that; when I say God I mean the source energy, I am not religious but I feel very close to that source energy which I believe every living being other than human feels very close too.

  • @zeystube science teaches us that we are all one with the universe

as we are in the universe, the universe is within us

all the components needed for life here on earth are the same components that make up the stars

i believe that is the energy you are refering to

  • @coltsrule5150 yes ditto

  • @coltsrule5150 You're fucking retarded

  • @Allyty88 do me a favor

search Kent Hovind Vs A Real Scientist and listen to Dr tyson whom i got the quote

  • bet he fall in the water again

  • You idiots the camera men cant help the baby elephant as the adult elephants will react to thinking theyre trying to attack the baby. Have some sense.

  • @sanandreas6 Nor should they. As painful as it is to watch it is not our place to interfere...the exception being saving a lost orphan and hoping to coax an adult female into adoption. Elephants are one of the few animals to accept this symbiotic relationship with humans. They will often seek medical treatment from animal safe zones and are eager to take in their own.

  • @rubymickey It is our place to interfere, there is no exception. Elephants aren't one of the few animals to accept this symbiotic relationship with humans. They will not often seek medical treatment from animal safe zones and aren't eager to take in their own.

  • @FireStormBaller That's such a dumb ill informed comment, I'm not even going to reply to it, except to say "For someone with such a big ego, self proclaimed HERO to the world-- you've got a lot to learn."

  • @rubymickey That's not a dumb ill informed comment at all. Everyone for you to teach me, I have already learn. I'm not self proclaimed, I am.

  • @sanandreas6 yeah it would go from a baby elephant getting rescued video to a when animals attack video real quick lol

  • flag all advertising

  • Stop filming and help the baby elephant, gosh!

  • @FireStormBaller The rule is you don't interfere. Let nature take it's course.

  • @rubymickey The rule is you do interfere. Let you take its course.

  • @FireStormBaller so much to learn...a tree hugger with no conservation experience-- ask any professional in the field.

  • @rubymickey Anything that humans can teach me, I have already learn. I'm not a tree hugger. But I will tell you what I am. I am the hope of the universe. I am the answer to all living things that cry out for peace. I am protector of the innocent. I am the light in the darkness. I am truth. Ally to good, nightmare to you. I am a professional in the field.

  • @FireStormBaller You forgot-- arrogant and full of your self and all knowing over lord.

  • @rubymickey I'm not arrogants or full of myself, but I will tell you what I am. I am the hope of the universe. I am the answer to all living things that cry out for peace. I am protector of the innocent. I am the light in the darkness. I am truth. Ally to good, nightmare to you.

  • @FireStormBaller Thank you for confirming the obvious. Arrogance...nuff said.

  • @rubymickey I'm not arrogance. And I confirm the truth.

  • @FireStormBaller Me thinks the Lady doth protest too much...keep digging baby--the holes getting deeper

  • @rubymickey You can never show the truth too much.

  • @FireStormBaller Instead of lavishing in your own hype and ego, why don't you do some research into the subject of conservation? It's not about interfering with Bambi to feed your own sense of self importance. It's about living in harmony with the universe.

  • @rubymickey It's not my own, it's the truth. It's about helping those around you. It's about living in harmony with the universe.

  • @FireStormBaller Like I said, "so much to learn"

  • @rubymickey Like I said, nothing to learn.

  • @FireStormBaller If anyone were to get involved the elephants would think the person was attacking the baby and would likely kill him/her. The mother elephant made aware that her baby was drowning, and her and many others pitched in, helped, and now it's fine. To try and interfere is suicide.

  • @Dollreviewz155 If anyone were to get involved the elephants wouldn't think the person was attacking the baby and wouldn't kill him/her. The mother elephant didn't made aware that her baby was drowning and her and many others didn't pitched in, helped, and now it isn't fine. To try and interfere isn't suicide.

  • @FireStormBaller So you're either pretending to be stupid or you really are.

  • @Dollreviewz155 I'm not stupid at all.

  • @FireStormBaller Of course you're not.

  • @Dollreviewz155 I am not. But I will tell you what I am. I am the hope of the universe. I am the answer to all living things that cry out for peace. I am protector of the innocent. I am the light in the darkness. I am truth. Ally to good. Nightmare to you.

  • @FireStormBaller Dick, how dare you pretend you're me D:<

  • @Dollreviewz155 I'm not pretending I'm you.

  • @FireStormBaller Oh I see your game. You, my good sir, shall feel my wrath! Sooner. Or. Later. >:I

  • @Dollreviewz155 I have no game.

  • @FireStormBaller Well that's a bummer cause games are really fun :)

    You should play Skyrim!

  • @Dollreviewz155 I am the hope of the universe. I am the answer to all living things that cry out for peace. I am protector of the innocent. I am the light in the darkness. I am truth. Ally to good, nightmare to you.

  • @FireStormBaller I'm hungry :I

  • I bet you human beings would have let you drown then put it in YouTube.

  • woah! that was exhausting! I was holding my breath til they got the baby on safe ground. x))

  • so caring and compassionate!!

  • سبحان الله

  • Whew, that was some gripping video!

  • Elephants at their brilliant best

  • Comment removed

  • @Splendouristvision Oh please. Elephants have a lot to learn from people. Just look at them drinking that dirty muddy shitty water. A human parent wouldn't let their child into a dangerous situation like that anyway.

  • @grenadier33 Hey, thanks for proving me right with your rude, jerky comment!!

  • @Splendouristvision Sorry, rude is my kneejerk reaction to stupid.

  • @Splendouristvision What do you mean? Wouldn't a human mother try to save her baby from drowning or is this unique to elephants?

  • @Placktus He means that we should look beyond our own beliefs about such animals being so "savage" and "dangerous." Clearly they have emotions for their own, and from other videos I have seen, humans can relate to them, given that we do not hold ourselves superior to them and show them no danger or fear.

  • @Placktus What did he say? He removed the comment...

  • @Splendouristvision because OBVIOUSLY human would never help a drowning child +_+

  • @KnowledgeAddicted is the fact that people don't think animals have feelings and common sense.. this is a small prove that sometimes animals are acting with love.

  • @crazytwinsinc I dare to disagree, most of people owned some pet, and most of them think they are loving and thinking creatures. Even owner of a tarantula or a python will try to convince you that their pet is cuddly and feels emotional attachment to owner.

  • @Splendouristvision

Yes most human parents let theyr kids die if they fall into the water, thats sad.

  • The suspense .. The unknowing .. This was amazing

  • So sweet ;)

  • More human than human.

  • @TheLonePantheist Agreed!!

  • that is adorable. elephants are such sweet & intelligent creatures

  • Ain't nobody is gonna be left behind when it comes to elephants. :D

  • @Hitomi246123 Elephants have been a matriarchal society for millions of years. Teenaged males are kicked out of the herd. In paleolithic times many young male mammoth skeletons dotted the tar pits as they did not have the experience or guidance to avoid them.

  • I like them but they're retarded

  • some humans should take notes.

  • I <3 how they work together to save it :))

  • awwwww this is so sad but beautiful. elephants are some of my favorite animals, they're so spiritual.

  • this is what happens when you dont give a baby armbands

  • Comment removed

  • when I was watching this I couldn't say any other word apart from , Awwwwwwwwww !!!! :')

  • here is proof that animals feel!!! i should show this to my fucking confirmation teacher...

  • @mirandamartha44 tell ur confirmation teacher that humans are animals, too. does s/he not feel emotions? idiot.

  • @renascencewoman he was an idiot and i sat there arguing just that with him. but he was all high and mighty saying we were the only "beings" who would go to heaven and i asked him how the hell he knows that any of "god's" creatures who are way less judgemental than us won't have souls or emotons.. he had no answer so i walked out :)

  • We can learn from elephants ;)

  • @MaykeEva1 lmao as if a human wouldnt have jumped in to save a drowning child... besides we would have done it more efficiently

  • @crazzynez sure a mother would have done the same thing, but not everyone that was standing aside

  • maybe he was being baptised? XD

  • what are family for

  • If I died and got reincarnated I would want to be an elephant.....jus saying

  • Yep. This just confirmed it. Elephants DEFINITELY have souls : )

  • LOL what a noob!

  • really like how many of the elephants were helping...awesome. as people we could take some lessons, when you see someone struggling...help...they didnt just pick him up buy helped guide him to safe ground.

  • 23 people are heartless

  • they're giving little junior a little swimming lesson 101

  • ugh its to heavy call a air support to carry it

    lol

  • omg!!! i was not breathing!!

  • @waitingastar LOLLOLLOL!!! Me too!!

  • 1:13 he's just mossing

  • That poor baby way probably so tired after that.

  • Elephants are the only animals that mourn for their dead besides humans, they're really intelligent. Not saying there aren't exceptions, but in the whole..they're probably one of the smartest animals on this planet.

  • 1:08 ... and not a single fuck was given that day.

  • how can people dislike this. really come on

  • The baby aint drowning, elephants much like most mammals are instinctive swimmers, although of course the baby is frantically trying to get up the slippery edge of the watering hole. Poor adults are herding the frantic baby over to the "shallow" part so he can just walk up onto shore...like "hey kid stop thrashing and just go over here..sheesh". In any case, most social animals are responsive as a group to protect all their young. Its why elephants encircle the young when predators are around.

  • Don't worry, we got u lil dude!

  • 1:13 "Oh look that babys drowning.....well im thirsty sooo.....

  • @aron101112 lol

  • I think it's great the elephants are helping the baby, but what concerns me is the person holding the camera. Instead of going to help, they'd rather record what's happening with the elephants. What a world we live in..

  • @Oanhiiful ah, I see. It's a baby elephant. I understand why no, they'd probably get trampled. I suppose I should've watched the whole thing first. I thought it was a human baby.

  • @Oanhiiful Elephants are also aggressive, if a human were to approach one of their young the elephants would prob kill that person.

  • why does it take so much effort to do it... couldnt they just get the baby using one or two trunks or by digging on the side?

  • they are so beautiful

  • 0:37 elaphant arives trying to help, and then leaves without caring about the baby elaphant

  • never going to see elephants as beautiful creatures when seeing a video of them eating each other's poop on youtube D:

damn nature sometimes you are disgusting!

  • @TheOriginalRobin -the video is about family ties and you talk about poop? WE ARE IN DIFFERENT CHANNELS .....

  • they must be certified life guards lol

  • The elephant community is so amazing..

  • Wow intelleginte

  • That baby may have gotten water in its lungs and should visit a doctor immediately just in case or else it could die from second-hand drowning.

    -Dr. Elephant

  • So amazing :')

  • Elephants are cool,,,,Its a pity they have to share the planet with us.

  • @WoodstockHiker so you would have people killed because they are people?

  • @WoodstockHiker Its a pity any animal has to share Earth with us

  • @WoodstockHiker i don't hunt them. my people haven't killed them for ivory. my conscience is clear.

  • @WoodstockHiker i agree we suck

  • they are teaching

    how to swim

  • its funny how the random elephant comes out of nowhere to drink water at 1:13 lol

  • I love that its a whole herd that came to help and even got in the water to try. :D

  • what I love most about this is it isn't just a mother and her baby it's the whole group trying to help that one mother and her baby. They are a family! :) <3

  • @FuriousStrength Yeaah ..... Thaat is veery truee! xx

  • @FuriousStrength what i love is that if your mom came they would start singing !"we are a family"

  • @FuriousStrength some elephants can be mean :P that one elephant was just drinking away laughing secretly

  • Beautiful to see, each and every one elephant is a treasure. Greed is the reason these magnificent animals are killed, taken from their family for whatever reason. Circus, tusks, stupidity. Seeing this video is a treat, thank you, Karen.

  • JUST KIDDING YOU GUYS JKJKJK!!!

  • gay

  • Beautiful!

  • Haha that 1 at 1:14 is like i don't give a shit i'm thirsty

  • I love how elephants are like one big family :)

  • You ever heard of the saying, You have a memory like an elephant. There is a reason for it. Elephants are very intelligent and very protective. Elephant is the only animal that can recognize himself. It can see his reflection in the water, and if there is a dirty spot on his head, he will take it's trunk and wipe it away.

  • aww i got emotional

  • elephans are awesome why would people kill them

  • damn that was stressfull to watch...
