  • I like the part where she blasts that bright red gymno off the soil with a shot from her fertilizer cannon. God speed, chlorophyll-free gymno.

  • Expert at what, rotting cacti in record time? Because that's what will happen if you water them right after planting them in sand!

  • I got bought a cactus 3 years ago, similar to the tall thin bright green one in the video.

I never really paid too much attention to it, now its huge. I think some can over complicate things, once the basics of light and water are established i think it sorts itself out (cactus soil would help). i hardley watered it (when i remembered, or every couple of weeks) - i thought it would be damaging if i over watered it as i knew cactuses retain water in their bodies. In Bathroom-20c ish

  • Can you grow cacti and succulents in the same pot?

  • wow ... she actually thinks the coloured, chlorophyll-lacking moon cacti "cuttings" would grow like that! fuck expert village; theyre random people making shit up about... every hobby ever...

  • whats the name of the first plant you watered because ot looks similiar but with spikes and i have a full grown mom and a young one growing and i grew it myself

  • and u want to use 5-10-5 stupid expert village

  • from what ive heard you want to water new plants like these 2-3 times a week but has they get older you should water them like 1 every two weeks or when ever the dirt is completly dry

  • i watered my prickly pear cacti every day twice a day and it grew to more idk what there called branches in to weeks and they got really thick and green and healthy. maybe cause it was 115 degrees idk but why once a week

  • Last year I watered my cactus every day and it fell apart. It didnt get as much light as it needed either. Im getting a new cactus soon but these plants are difficult to get to grow and it seems like a desert plant would want more water so I watered it. A cactus seems hard for people like myself not good with plants. :(

  • @jdfox1 Listen girl!

If you cant handle a CACTUS, maybe you should get more pets instead?? Have you considered walking sticks or hermit crabs?? hahaha!

.. you know most WOMEN tend to "love their plants to death" = overwatering! Water much every 14 days and do it so that the soil gets WET but dont leave water standing under the pot! A cactus will probably survive longer if not watered at all instead of overwatering!! :-)

  • Yea i dont have much room for any more pets. My plant space isn't very good...a cactus you would think would like water. I'm getting a new cactus and I planted a flower too.

  • @jdfox1 Thats the spirit my friend!

Hey, put it SUNLIGHT or at least as light as you possibly can!

Water the way I suggested before and you can´t go wrong!!

  • @jdfox1 umm cactus barely need any water thats why it died LOL

  • @cldball yea I know now but i thought a desert plant might would want a lot of water its all good im going to get another cactus. :)

  • No tiene idea .... !!!

    Experta...???? Noooo.

  • you are not supposed to water them that much unless you wanna drown the poor cactus

  • @eltopiton if i keep my caci on the balcony and it starts raining when im at work, what happens? do the cacti end up dying?

  • @beswick1111 not to worry. One thing you must always remember is that there are no roofs in nature. Anyway, don't sink your plant as the woman in the video did when you water it.

  • @beswick1111 But if you cactus is very little, I would certainly recomend you to keep it inside near a window when you go to work

  • @eltopiton if i buy a cacti from a shop and its in a small pot and the plant is getting to the edge, should i re pot it right away into a bigger pot? also should u keep a plastic saucers under the pot plant with cacti or not?

  • @beswick1111 you should wait some time (about a month to two months) to re pot it, so it's not such a big change for your cacti. They grow slowly, so there's no reason to worry. And NO!!!!! don't put a plastic saucer under the pot!. The soil in the cacti's pot should be dry always. Water you cacti a spoonfull of water once a week or every two weeks. Better dry than wet!
