I've been baking bread in various toaster ovens for 25+ years along with the full-sized. It will absolutely work within the constraints of the oven size.
@geckchaznica15: I think that would depend on how hot the heat is in your toaster oven and how big it is. If the oven is big enough, but you can't control the temperature, try experimenting with "tenting" aluminum foil on top of the bread (meaning that the foil is on top but does not touch the bread), to prevent burning the top of the bread for the first part of the baking process. For the last few minutes, remove the foil so you can have a brown crust on top.
Bread needs to be baked at high temperature in a short time. Traditional bread making ovens reach 500-600 degree centigrade and bake the bread in less than 10 minutes. Lower temperature boils the bread and gets all the air out of the bread and make the bread hard, dry, and though.
@Salahuddin2009a: Thanks for your input. However, 500 C is equal to 932 Fahrenheit. American ovens do not go that high. Also, I was using hemp flour, which gets bitter if heated above 350F.
Awesome purchase! I just bought one and it was definitely more expensive. I plan on baking anything and everything in mine as well. Im an avid baker. Thanks for sharing!
Nice price.
