  • i just wish you were my mom... you are great and i want to be just like you! my name is already emily so i have that going for me!! ;)))

  • dracula......lol

  • so did the glue ruin your nail or was it perfectly fineafter you took the fake nails of?

  • I'm so bummed! I was at CVS today and had these in hand, but put them back because I was worried about the quality. This is a great review. Now I'm going to have to go back & get them. =)

  • OMG! thanxx for this review! I jut bought these and i really wanted to know about them.

  • I hate fake nails coz they dosnt stay that well...

  • I was thinking of getting some fake

nails, cause I always get them done at salon. And wanted to change it up a bit, and heard these were really good. But I looked for them on the Revlon site and cant find them?Hopely they sell them at walmart, cause im going to check tomm.

  • i bought these nails today! i love them. i cant even feel them on...they feel so natural ...thx!!

  • I love your videos! you're to the point...you speak clearly. you're just great!

  • How do the Revlon Runway nails compare to the newer ones you were wearing? I think they're the called Nailene nails? Are the Revlon nails stronger?

  • i like those. i have the look of KISS on my nails. the brand.. not the band lol.[: woo goo michael jackson. fu*in love him.

  • you know when you get acrylic nails and you take them off and it leaves that crease in your nail that you have to wait to grow out... does that happen with these?

  • I love glue-on nails..Revlon, Kiss, Nailene. I had acrylics for years and still can't get over how good these look at a fraction of the cost of acrylics.

  • Ahh i just tried these on and i cant get them off! my nails are ruined lol

  • wow it would be a better idea to look at the back of the box for directions on how to get them off

  • i got those...ive had them on for a keep and a half and they havent popped off or chipped or anything. revlon makes the best nail glue ever.

  • I think the designs are tacky, especially the silver ones.

  • Im so glad u did this video, after watching it I went and bought them (on sale for $5.00 too) and I looovvve them! They look just like acrylic! Just a tip for everyone: to make it easier for the SECOND time you buy these make sure you write down the size you used for each finger (the number is on the back near the tip in very small print of every nail), it will just make it so much easier for the next time ya know!

  • Thanks, I think I may put some in my just in case bag that I keep in my car, hey you never know.

  • veryyy cute!

    can you paint these?

I want to wear press on nails, but i would like to make them my own colour.

  • some brands have these nails that are just clear so you paint them yourself and glue them on.

  • I use Broadway nails that are glue on and last for about a week. I get more compliments on my glue ons compared to when i get my nails professionally done.

The Revlons look nice b/c they have the cute designs on the tips.

  • Good review, will deffo have to try them they look fab <3

  • Emily you look absolutely stunning in this video! Obviously, great review :)

  • Hey, Anyone knows where I can get them online? Revlon is not so big here in barcelona. Thx

  • Comment removed

  • Hey Emily, does the glue from fake nails like these ruin your own nails and how long do they stay on for?

  • So glad you did this review. I've been looking for some nails and didn't want to get the acrylics. This is perfect. Thanks.

  • thank you for this review, i will definitely check them out the next time i'm at walmart or cvs. however, i'm just wondering how would you take them off since they're "Glued on"... is that hard? Will it damage your nails?

    -Christina

  • WOW! I thought you got your nails professionally done! Those look so great!

    FABO!

  • Funny that you just did a review on these. I myself tryed the glue on nails for the 1st time last Friday 5/22. I bought 2 different brands, Revlon & Kiss. I started w/ the Revlon ones and liked them at first, but they chipped horribly bad after 2 days & then 1 broke off. So I took those off & put on the Kiss. What a difference. I've had the Kiss ones on since Monday & have had 0 probs. They still look fabulous! So, if you decide you want to try another brand, I would recommend the Kiss.

  • How are you taking them off???? Just wondering how you are going about doing it.

  • You have to use the Acetone like you would with regular acrylic nails, but they come off much faster and easier. Took me about 10 mins to get them off.

As a follow up, I JUST took the Kiss ones off this morning...so they lastest from last Monday the 25th to this Monday. I probably could have gotten a couple more days out of them, but I broke the nail on my right index finger & didn't have another one to replace it.

  • I have these! they also come in a same style but with black criss cross and glitter at the ends. very cute!

  • the nails you are wearing in this vid are cute and subtle enough to wear into the office.

  • how do you take these nails off?

  • Soak 'em in warm water for 15 minutes. (That's what they say on the package. Never works for me. =/ )

  • thanks

  • how much do these usually cost?

  • After years of having acrylics on, I finally had them taken off for awhile. I purchased the Revlon Red fake nails to put on my nails because I was so used to having acrylics & my hands looking nice that I needed something for in between. I put mine on expecting them to only stay on for a week or so. Well mine are going on 7 wks. The only difference was I used Nailene Nail Glue & not the glue that came in the kit. I would have done a better job if I had known they would stay on this long...

  • would they stay on when your also a Tomboy? I LOVE being "one of the guys" I also have a horse. LOTS of work there.I love working on cars. But I've always wanted pretty hands too. Even if I'm a Tomboy I have the girlish side too. Absolutely!! I've looked at these a lot You can get GREAT deals sometimes.I now have a 4 wheeler. Talking bout being a "dirty girl" I have hair middle way down my rump.woohoo bring on the mud locks!

But yeah I'd like nice hands. Mine are horrifying.

  • I've had fake nails done at a salon for over 20 years and no damage done to nails is permanent. They grow out. I've had mine off for 4 months (longest time in 20 years) and my cuticles/nail beds are in perfect shape :)

  • great find! thanks for sharing..

what do you use to remove them?

  • 5 days?!?!?!? I haven't worn fakes in years... years and years. I could never get fakes to last more than 1 day. I might have to go buy a pack of these.

    Thanks :)

  • LOL your right and it also save's you money, sometimes the acrylics nails can really mess you natural nails up. Thanks for your video's

  • Thank you!

    I like your make up!

are you wearing a bump it ?

  • I like these because with 2 kids I wash my hands a lot... and they don't chip or fade I keep them on about 8 days no more than 10 and I they don't fade at all broadway nails are very good to and they come in the sporty lenght which make them stay even longer!!!!

  • i've been going to th same place for a little over 2 years... getting my nails filled and redone about every 3 weeks. Never had a problem with fungus and stuff.

You just have to look around.. make sure the tools they use are cleaned and not the same ones they just used... and also make sure the store is clean its self and the stations each prson works at.

  • How do you remove these?

  • I have the same question.

  • my comment was for Shakaanita

  • I'm so glad you did this video, I've been wanting to buy glue on nails but I could never find a good brand that stayed on. I use to have acrylics, but I got tired of always getting them filled. I'm glad you mentioned that you've had these nails on for 5 days, that gives me hope that they will stay on my nails without popping off lol. I plan to buy some.

  • how much was that pack?

  • I want some for my toes lol

  • You have no idea how much these glue-on nails destroy your own nails :(

I'm a cosmetician, I work at a salon and I've seen nails after removing fake nails, they were paper-like :( I would never ever EVER recommend using glue-on nails. If you want fake nails, go to a salon and get the gel or acrylic nails. Those aren't so harsh on your natural nails like these glue-on ones.

  • yes since acrylic nails only require you to grind down your nails and then apply harsh chemicals that peel away your skin and cuticle to them..

  • aw c`mon, we all know that NONE of the fake nail techniques are good for our nails. and I have to tell you that removing a part of your cuticles is ok, you won't die from doing that. I think the glue is worse!!! Go on, glue your nails if you think that is better, but I vote for the salon techniques, since I work at a salon and I actually know how these things work and affect your nails.

  • but then you have to worry about fungus and bacteria at the salon .. and since the places in the mall use the drill and grind your natural nails down, that is something to be concerned about .. but those places ( the ones with chinese ppl. working ) are the BEST nails bc they use dental acrylic illegally.. haven't you ever wondering y they last SO much longer than the "american" places? THAT'S WHY! lol

  • Well I don't know about other salons, but at the salon I`m working at, FUNGUS AND BACTERIA will never exist, we are keeping everything 100% clean. And I don't live in the US, I live in Europe.... Kinda different here....

  • I've used glue-on nails for quite some time after having acrylics on for years! Acrylics got too expensive to keep up as my nails grow really fast! I couldn't go more than 2 weeks before they needed to be filled! The acrylics are MUCH harder on your nails, as dnae stated earlier. I recently used glue-on nails, took them off (the hard way by popping them off-BAD IDEA!) and I've grown my natural nails out ever since- they still have yet to break, chip or crack! That would NEVER happen w/acrylics!!

  • I think taking care of your natural nails is the best. I have seen nails after glue-on nails and I've seen mine after removing my uv-gel nails. Well.... it took about 4 months to get my normal nails back , still that period was short compared to the person that took off the glued-on nails. I'd rather get the gel nails than the acrylics, but I would never glue some plastic on my entire nail surface . Keep it natural girls! That's the best!

  • i love your nails, and i like those too since they give me really clean hand look. but, my problem was not that they would come off easily, but it was the opposite. they wouldn't come off and gave me hard time taking them off that they kinda hurt my original nail even though i originally have a really strong nail. can you plz do a tutorial of taking them off easily? it would be awesome!!!!! (:

  • btw..love your hair! so cute!

  • You look like that girl from Miss Congeniality

  • sandra bullock.

  • You should do all your videos in that room you look great and the lighting is perfect you can see your make up and your face very well.... Love your videos

  • bumpit?

  • how much did you pay per box

  • All of the styles that you have do look really cute and the ones on your nails are so natural-looking! They also look like you got them done at the nail salon and you got to love that about them! How much were the nail kits?

  • Hi Emily!! Are you wearing your bumpits in this video? I havent seen you do any more tutorials on those in a long time, just wondering.

    Thanks!

  • great video thanks so much, im going to try these.

what blush do you have on in this video..it looks amazing:)

  • Can you do a tutorial on that hair style? It looks sooooo pretty! :)

  • can you reuse these? or is it just one time usage?

  • I love wearing these kinds of nails because acrylic really messed my nails up. I learned a trick, if you use clear nail polish before putting on the glue on nails, tthe glue will not damage your natural nails and the polish does not interfere with the glue or the performance of the glue.

  • heh, thanks for the tip..i was debating if i wanted to get them :D

  • those look awesome!

  • She doesn't have a job that "requires" her to spend lots of money on makeup. Youtube is a hobby of hers. She's a news anchor that does her own makeup. They wouldn't know if she used Revlon from Mac.

  • ?? You make no sense.

Emily is my new favorite on YouTube. It seems like ALL the guru's use nothing but MAC and expensive stuff. Almost everything she uses is super affordable stuff from the drugstore. Yet she looks a million times better, and she's on T.V every day!

  • .. i wasnt being sarcastic. i honestly wish i had a job that requires me to wear makeup. :)

  • They look neat!!! Wonder if they are sold in Canada does anyone know?? Wouldn't mind trying, looks good Emily!!

  • KISS nails are gorgeous & cheap! I used to wear them all the time back in the day!* ;) **Perfect french manicure!

  • Q: when one of the nails fall off do you take the rest off too.

  • usually , i just c if i can glue it bacc on . if i like lost the glue or somefin then i just take them all off , cuz im my opinion it just looks taccy 2 have 9 on and 1 off .

  • wow thanks for this review, the criss cross ones you have on looks so wonderful!

btw! i love your hair! the bouffant (well what looks like a Bouffant) is just right

    thanks again xoxo

  • Emily, where did you get your earrings? I love them! Thanks:)

  • how do you take them off?

  • generally... nailpolish remover in a small bowl and dip ur fingers in them. let it soak in, and slowly, carefully, "peel" them off.

  • This review makes me rethink dismissing fake nails, so thanks! I am interested to know after how many days of wear will they begin to fall off as well as how your natural nail looks underneath afterward. Please update us!!!

  • The glue itself does not really ruin the nail, as long as you don't put a ton of it on. A lot of the time the nails will just fall off on their own after a week or so depending on how well you prep your nails to begin with.

  • oooh!! OMG! SOO PRETTY! I need to get some of these!! Do they damage your nail underneath?

    xoxoxo

    luv,

    jessie

  • How long have they stayed on for, Emily?

  • Ok.. so do you have to soak all the nail off or will it come off easily once the acetone gets under the nail? I have tried doing the acetone to remove my acrylics and it still ruined my nails.

    any tips?

  • couple of questions.. 1. how do you get them off once they start to grow out and its noticeable? 2. doesnt the glue really ruin your natural nail? Your nails were really looking so pretty. I took my acrylics off a few months ago and they my nails are finally looking better.

  • I've never tried Revlons but I love the Broadway Nails. The look so natural, I had people think they were really my nails.

  • I love the Broadway nails too.

  • This is a great review, thanks, can you do a vid on how you apply them, the few times I've tried there have been air bubbles.

  • whenever i put nails on they leave bubbles!

  • argile

  • u should try broadway nails, they work rlly rlly good

  • i actually tried the kiss brand press on, or adhesive nails, last week, and they were amazing. They did not budge, and it was actually had to work to remove them! :)

  • when i used kiss nails they fell off that day! what did i do wrong lol

  • i just pressed down for about 30 seconds on each nail and they did not move! :) If they dont work for you maybe you should buy the nail glue separately. good luck!:)

  • maybe you didnt use enough glue, or too much?

  • aren't they affected by the washing up?.. i wash my hands like gizillion times a day :( do you think they will stay on??

  • me too- they haven't budged!!

  • great video your hair and makeup look flawless great job

  • fake nails are such a west coast thing. well, west coast and jersey.

  • Could you do a review about your favorite foundation for summer please ? Thanks !!

  • this is so funny because yesterday I almost got some BUT instead I got Edge because they were more fun. but if i wanted something more classy i would totally go for it. :) lovely review btw

  • you should try broadway nails. they look so real..when i took them off people in my class asked why i clipped my nails!

  • how do you take them off?

  • those arecute, thank you so much for showing us those!

  • Hey Emily! Great review, I will have to pick some up!

    How much were they??

    Thanks girl!

  • I NEVER go to a salon anymore to get my nails done. For the past 11 years I have been buying these types of nails and doing my nails with those. They are wonderful! I HATE the self adhesive..they are horrible and do not stay on. However, the glue on kind are awesome. I use the Nailene glue because it is what works best for me out of all the glues I have tried and I can normally get about two weeks or longer out of my nails before they start coming off. Also try Kiss or the Broadway nails!!

  • love your hair style...

  • thanks!:)

  • hmmm...? how much are they???:)

    nice video:D

  • great review

  • Totally forgot! LOVE those earrings!! Where are they from?

  • Oh those are super cute. Nice review Emily.

  • I use Kiss CustomFit in Real Short. They are perfect for me. The Revlon's are cute, but too long for me. Thanks for the review!

  • Thanks for this video! I've chewed my nails my whole life and always have to turn to fake nails for special occasions. I will look for these next time I'm at the drug store!

  • Loveeee these nails and they look fab on you! :)

  • Hmmm....I wonder if they are sold at CVS?!

I use the Broadway nails and they don't stay on for too long! I'm really hopeful to find them at mu local drugstore!

THANKS FOR ANOTHER WONDERFUL REVIEW <3

  • They're pretty much anywhere Revlon's sold.

  • did you use the glue that they gave you to glue on the nails? or did you use a different glue?

  • i used they glue that came with the nails

  • Hello Emily! Great review as always. What about how the nails come off? Do they come off easily, or with acetone? I can imagine after about a week or two there will be growth on the bottom of the nail...

But they look like a great option! I just might have to pick these up!

  • you look more beautiful each day!

  • :-) fifth comment

  • Thanks for this !
