This is a great video, but that walk cycle is SO AWKWARD. Her tie is moving the wrong way, while her head and upper body aren't moving at all. Her entire body should move up and down as she walks and shifts the weight....And where is her other arm?

From reading the lyrics, I interpreted this as a story of a girl who fell in love, didn't have her feelings returned, in turn felt hurt, and locked her heart, giving up on the idea of love. Someone then falls in love with her, but the door to her heart is still locked, making the person who has fallen in love feel "useless." In the end, the girl then realizes her mistake and gives the person a chance. Because even if things go wrong, "the lock will lock still." I'm probably off. -shrug-

The way I interpreted it is that everyone is trying to make her follow a certain path, and ignore what she wants in her heart. The 'knocking on the locked door' is her inner self that wants to be free to express. The jumping is probably symbolic of her just going off the path that others expect her to follow. You can follow this path, and no matter what "choices" you have, the future will always be bleak, or you can try to reach out and take what you want. Nothing changes if you dont try.

Actually, I used the wrong term OTL I should've said PV since it's an original piece of work. Usually PVs--most commonly animated--are the videos made for original music. Such as being the case here.

As for MAD, I don't know what it stands for either, but it's basically Japan's version of an AMV--a fanmade video for a certain fandom using scenes, music, memes, themes, etc. by other artists. As of late, there have been a growth in MADs that are fananimated.
