Sounds great! I am wondering what speakers you have in your cabinet? I'm on the verge of purchasing a Reinhardt amp, and I am thinking of using Bob's speakers in his 2x12 cabinet.
The cab has Bob's speakers in it. One bass cone and one lead cone. However, I'm probably gonna ask Bob if we can't replace the bass cone with another lead cone. I personally think it makes the cab a little too bassy. Especially with humbucker guitars.
Good luck. Bob makes great stuff and is a super nice guy. Take care, Trina
That's some great tone & playing. If your going out of town and need someone to sit with your gear-I'm your man. If not,I can always drule from here.Sounds great, keep em' comming. Cheers
Awesome tones there T!!! With ACDC...you need to have it just slightly cleaner and bring up the high end a little more...either with presence or treble pot. I'm being real picky....but I think you'll get that classic KRRAAANGG on the open chords with just a little less compression and a little more brightness. Anyway that's just this old burnt out dudes opinion...LOL!!!
I hear ya Dan. It was bright in the room but where the camera was placed kind of missed the treble. Actually, the treble is dimed and the bass/mids are on zero. It's kind of a bassy amp. As you know, what we hear in the room, doesn't always transfer to the Tube. LOL I think my little 8 inch speaker amps transfer better. Thanks for checking it out. Best wishes, T
Well I didn't use any compression on this. It's just power tube compression, and the rest is digital compression due to transfer.
Like I said earlier, it sounded much cleaner in the room. I wasn't really trying to get Angus' tone. Basically just demoing the P90 raunch with the Reinhardt cranked.
Thank you! Hard to beat the sound of mahogany/P-90's. I'd love to get a hold of a 50's LP JR like yours. Of course, this video got all compressed sounding wthh digital transfer to the Tube. It wasn't this mushy in the room.
You might want to look at buying a 50s Jr. now - if you some extra $. As I'm sure you know, vintage guitar prices are soft - especially for those insturments that were produced in larger quantities (like LPJs). Prices are probably down 40 -50% vs. what they were 18 months ago, and there are quite a few pieces to choose from. Let me know if you want me to keep an eye out.
u need some treble in that!

how about no compression....the only compression should be from the power tubes getting pushed!! Angus's tone is much cleaner then most people think!
