@narutouzumaki556 Hit the gas button when the countdown reaches 2. When you're supposed to do this is different between characters.

Most likely because Nintendo understands its own systems better than the 3rd-party companies. That and some think that Wii graphics = PS2 graphics, which is WRONG.

Anyhow, mario kart wii has great graphics and it's sooo smooth but SEGA didn't remade this game for wii instead port? :S

This is actually the same game as the other versions, just with lower graphics. There's nothing the Xbox 360 or PS3 versions have that this one doesn't have. (Plus, the Wii version lets you use the Wii Wheel.)

@zxlr8v77 Jacky & Akira are a heavyweight character: That is, they have bad handling and acceleration but are fast. They have a somewhat better handling than most other heavyweights though.

@Overhazard no!!!! wii has way!! better graphics than ps2! look at the wii version and the ps2 versions of sonic unleashed wii had better graphics and the wii version of sonic and sega to me could compare to 360

one thing: you said that the reason Sonic wasn't on foot and was in a car was because it was unfair for the race. Yet Opa Opa doesn't ride in a car and uses himself. I know that he is a spaceship type thing, but still. I guess they let him slide because he didn't have arms.

Opa-Opa isn't the fastest thing alive either. (Of course, whether he's even alive is debatable.)

I wouldn't doubt if he was considered, as the guys at Sumo Digital were thinking of putting in Vyse from Skies of Arcadia, and also Toejam & Earl. The reason Toejam & Earl aren't in this is because the creator of the series refused permission, waiting to see if this game sells well.

Neo wouldn't be too far off the charts if forgotten SEGA guys like those were considered.

All stars are made to be offline, so online if real people were playing, I think it'd be unfair.

I was a bit dissapointed with the fact they took out the use of all-star moves online. That will make it hard for players falling behind to catch up, not to mention if you don't play offline much, you will very rarely see them.

The difference between the Bullet Bill and the All-Star is that the All-Stars look different for each racer, while the Bullet Bill is the same.

Opa-Opa is already a sentient vehicle; it can enter as itself.

I guess Sega didn't want people to frequently get All-Stars, unlike the leader in Mario Kart Wii who will get pelted with everything including the kitchen sink on the last lap just to screw them over.
