In Britain the term "Asian" refers to Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, & Sri Lankan. The reason being is because they ARE so numerous (more accurately they are "South Asian" - check you're geography). They are they largest population of ethnic minority in the whole of Britain. In Britain yes "South East" Asians ie - Chinese, Japanese etc are the smallest in number and in Britain are referred to as "Oriental". actually, it is true to some extence. I think the real reason why the british girls do not date asian guys is that the girls have to find their partner sooner than the guys. you know that there is cultural difference between asians and English.
