Also, of the people who play cello, a very small number would have any interest in even listening to Metallica, let alone playing their music.

Apocalytica is truly an AMAZING band, like MrNowhere53 I love the way they combine the harshness of metal and the beauty of classical instruments, however apocalyptica is about as harsh as I can get on the metal scale without being REALLY pissed at something. And I would also have to disagree with steventylerf, I think that their cover of "One" is by far the BEST thing I have ever heard on a cello, and is in fact the song that inspired me to pick up the instrument.

Hey relax! What we commonly comment as a remix is a re-mix obviously, and this term usually sticks with computer originated music. For example if you made a techno version of Master of Puppets you would propably name it "Master of Puppets Remix". In music coming either from acoustic or electric instruments played by humans we use the term cover, or arrangement if you switch instruments. So this is a cover of Master of Puppets arranged for cellos :)
