  • Great tracks! Please tell me that kick was made in zebra :p.

  • LOL @ the random children saying massive is better than zebra. just because every 12 year old kid and their mums crack and have massive doesn't mean its better. zebra is actually far more capable and versatile than massive. plus massives filters are shit and it sounds overall digital and plastic. zebra sounds stunning.

also the patches in the vid are average, I'm guessing due to the fact that they don't have fx and such on them besides built in zebra fx.

  • once you download the presets how do you add them to zebra?? please help meee!!!!!!! I AM GONNA KILL SOMEONE I CANT WORK THIS OUT!!!!

  • MAKE A TRACK OUT OF 0-35!!! ITS SICK

  • Audacity!!!no jk, i only use it because I have no money to buy a good program, I need a job

  • Zebra all the way!

  • Guys, should I get Zebra 2, if I already have z3ta 2 and Rapture? Or should I get Alchemy instead?

  • @MeldMagic massive.

  • SOmebody know how to do tools and than tweaked version? I cant find it, and I even dont know what it is !!!

  • massive is fine if u want to sound like everyone else lol

  • Great vid! Do you know of any good Ow City-ish drum vsts? Been looking for a good drum vst for a while :P

  • ni massive better

  • @lobuono92 Massive ROCKS! I bought it a few months ago when NI had a sale on it.

  • @XenosSoundworks looking forward to massive sounsets

  • @lobuono92 Massive is not better than Zebra 2, I own both I can say that if you want cool/easy sounds quick go with Massive, if you wanna go deep go with Zebra. But to each they're own I guess, I find Massive to produce a cheap kind of sound tbh. Also the filters are shite.

  • @stevenv27 YES! thank you :D

also - it's so heavily overused that you can usually tell when a producer uses a sound made with it in a track

  • @stevenv27 used both an dude, zebra kinda easier lol and zebra sound better

  • @lobuono92 I disagree. I've been using Massive for some time up until Zebra came along. If I had to go back to massive I'd be pissed at its design, clumsy filter envelopes, non-existing stability or support.

  • @lobuono92 FM8 rinses massive

  • @lobuono92 Massive is maybe better for dubstep...

But I reckon Zebra has a bigger "sonic spectrum"

And it beats massive on other fronts.

  • @lobuono92 Massive have a better Interface ( more User friendly ) but Zebra 2 is far more advanced synthesizer.

  • Cool in a way i guess... kinda defeats the purpose of producing imo

  • @noa1mjustskill How does the use of presets/commercial libraries defeat the purpose of production. The creative process can be inspired by a high quality, well designed preset, it is simply a sound, a tool if you like. It is what you do with the sound that counts.

  • nothing for massive?D:

wow the songs in this video are actually incredible, are they previews of full songs or something you just threw together? They sound fantastic!

  • @pure1108 I have something for Massive now :). The "Damnation Dubstep and DnB" soundset. As for the demos, I often hire people to do those. This demo was done by Steve Osiris and all the sounds except the drums are from the Zebra soundset.. You can find more of Steve's music over at SoundCloud.

  • nothing for massive?D:

  • Sick soundss

  • Great demosong! The bassline is very rich and deep. and Yes Zebra is awesome :)

Keep up the good work Xenos!

  • @demoscenes Thanks, man :). Steve Osiris/3ee did the audio demo. He has a SoundCloud page with some of his music if you're interested in hearing more of his work.

  • @XenosSoundworks That would be wicked cool!

:) Going to search for him on SoundCloud (since I've an account there as well).
