  • Senza offesa, William... Abrams è un idiota, ma tu come Kirk ormai saresti impresentabile.

  • Isn't this the guy from star wars...? I loved him in that movie film...

  • one Word FuckJJAbrams

  • maybe shatner should be in the next film as a cameo...and NOT as Kirk. He could be an admiral or oo OOOO I KNOW -He could be HARRY MUDD

  • I want him as a cameo art abar, being pissed and shouting "I want my ship back"!!!!

  • @fatmimethintenor: He's lying to make himself look better because he can't accept that he won't be Capt. Kirk again. Everybody else from the original show has accepted that they won't be Sulu, Chekov, Uhura again (and even visited the set to wish their younger counterparts well)-everybody else in the cast EXCEPT Shatner.

  • It not hard to bring him back to life, the movie take place before he dies anyway.

  • @webjeff2002: Shatner is 80 years old, and can't be in this movie-give it a rest, and get over it, and yourselves.

  • @Neville6000 you get over yourself, you replying to every post you see, it only make believe, Star Trek is not real. what are you trying to prove?

  • @webjeff2002 : I reply because I have a right to, asswipe. Why don't you do as Shatner once said and get a life? Preferably one where you can get a job in TV/movies instead of being such a big crybaby over a necessary (and needed) corporate decision to reboot this franchise that's out of your hands?

  • @Neville6000, I send your hold life on youtube about this movie, get outside and enjoy life.

  • @webjeff2002: AFTER he died, NOT before. And this is a ALTERNATE universe the movie happens in ( I prefer new continuity myself.)

  • Can someone please upload T.J. Hooker clips?

  • Star Trek XI made warp look like hyperspace from Star Wars or the slipstream drive that we see in Voyager. Warp is supposed to "warp" space-time by folding the space in front of you to make the distance shorter and stretching the space behind you. That is why in TNG and VOY, the ships get thinner and longer as they are going into warp.

  • @tfr4444 Watch carefully the first time you see the Enterprise go to warp in the new film. You see the front of the ship start to stretch out.

  • Willy Shatner has done just what Charlton Heston did to his character in the 'Battle of the Apes' films. -Or maybe what Sean Connery did to his Bond? - 'Never say Never Again' ???

  • Doesn't he mean old fat dead Captain Kirk???

  • The next Star Trek movie I am currently producing (JJ talking here, this is my youtube account) will have some exciting plot twists. Kirk and Spock travel to a desert planet and meet a young boy who'd piloting skills are exceptional. Spock takes it upon himself to train the boy in the ways of the Starfleet Academy and therefore rescue him from his mundane life, the boy becomes a pivotal role in the next 6 movies we a currently wrapping up.

  • @walmartian Wow, JJ, I'm currently in the process of pre-ordering 5 whole theater seats just to watch this. I'm really amazed at the originality flowing through your vast intellectual brain veins. Good golly.

  • @walmartian: How about you get an education in scriptwriting and directing movies first, THEN you can open your mouth and have trash come out of it than out of your big nasty ass?

  • @Neville6000 lol bro your mad bro over startrek fuck off nerd lmao thanks for the laugh...

  • He shouldnt have been in the last Star Trek film, but it was crap anyway. That's not what I think of Star Trek, aside from McCoy- all the actors were awful and no representations of the young Enterprise crew.

Why not make a new ship and crew up and make its adventures in thar alternate reality for the film?

  • @Robotdrummerzzk: Because it's been done? And because like DC Comics, Paramount and CBS Studios wanted a reboot? They're the ones in charge of the franchise, NOT you or anybody else here that like to bitch like babies needing a diaper change.

  • @Neville6000 Irrelevant, I'm allowed an opinion. It wasn't very good, quite frankly.

  • @Robotdrummerzzk: So am I, and I think your comments are full of crap.

  • @Neville6000 Not bothered at all.

  • Then he should never have been on GENERATIONS.

  • so why in other shows he said they never even talked to him about it? maybe it's part of buisness or something. here he was probably just being himself. which is one of the things i like about the craig ferguson show. the guests really don't promote their films that much. when they go. it's more like if they're just having a normal conversation.

  • I think Shatner may really have Mad Cow. Here he claims to refuse to appear in the new Trek and now he's saying that he was rejected? Though I actually enjoyed the new Trek more than any movie that came out that year, or the one before, Shatner played a better Kirk. I do not blame Chris Pine one bit. I blame the writers for taking one aspect of Kirk's aspect and running with that. Shatner's Kirk was flawed but likeable. Chris Pine's Kirk was just a fuckin' asshole.

  • @ironhandz1: Assholes are the new hero, haven't you heard?

  • Shatner is Kirk and Pine is a clown. It doesn't ryme, but it's true.

  • @McMahonHater: Shatner WAS Kirk, Pine IS Kirk now, and you're a moron. (that didn't RHYME*, but it's also true.)

*How you really spell the word.

  • @Neville6000 Pine is a clown, he sucked at playing Kirk, Abrams Trek was a shitty movie with shitty writing, a shitty story, that had a shitty, stupid, jerk off ending... oh look at the black hole in our solar system... opps their goes Jupiter.... so long Venus. Actually it wasn't a black hole it was the combined space between the ears of J.J. Abrams, Roberto Orci, and Alex Kurtzman.

  • @McMahonHater: More like the big hole in your mind and the big mouth that spews out bullshit covering up for the small dick that you have. The people AND critics have spoken-you and the other fools stuck in the past lost, admit it and stop being such clueless losers acting like big, immature babies.

  • @McMahonHater There was no black hole in our solar system in the film... ^^

  • @Mukation A common misperception. That was actually all the holes in the plot escaping the script and merging into one big clusterfuck.

Next movie we find out that Nero becomes Enterprise's Future Guy. Guest starring Fabio as Khan.

  • @ReverendSyn make sense in the sense making, dude.

  • rumors have it old kirk might actually be in the new Star Trek, so the sequel to 2009 Star Trek.

So yeah, we will see, i myself wouldn't mind seeing William Shatner reprise his role as Kirk :)

  • @neoduke007: No, he won't. Nor will Nimoy be in the new movie either.

  • @Neville6000 yeah, now a year later and we know better :P

was always nice though to hope for it! :P

If only the rumors were true :(

  • @neoduke007 Now that the planet Vulcan has been destroyed, with all the time paradoxes that that would entail, anything might happen!

  • @cbl1984 Anything except a good movie coming out of it.

  • fighting on the internet is like winning the special olympics, you might win but you'll still be retarded in the end

  • Telling cliches is like fucking a dead cow. You might make a statement, BUT COME ON YOU'RE FUCKING A DEAD COW!

  • @Braydawg69 I've been telling something like that to those who have tried to pick online fights with me. But they're like "Dur, how is that possible?" Which is why I ignore the ignorant.

  • Yeah, you're a fucking idiot, shut the fuck up.

  • You're a child who knows nothing.

  • Firstly you're a fool to believe you can know anything. Secondly one again, please shut the fuck up. You are an idiot.

  • @MarkAnthony27: The only thing that sucks a cow's dick is you.

  • In the sequel to the new movie, Adams talked about resurrecting the old captain Kirk, so...it could happen.

  • I would like Shatner to come back but he died in Generations

  • he could have been the grandfather Jim that the new Kirk was named after... and be seen in the final scene when new Kirk is getting his captaincy.

  • Witch makes no sence because in the origanal pilot for the origanal series Kurk wasen't the captin at all. Infact he wasen't even in the show at all.

  • remember the time line had changed because Nero had been there quite some time already....

  • @dreamy741 Yep, it was Jeffery Hunter who played Captain Christopher Pike. AND Spock wasn't emotionless in the original pilot.

  • @VinnyMonster1 Pine looks far more like Chris Pike.

They should have just made it a straight prequel and had him play young Pike on HIS first mission, with the guy playing Pike being Robert April. And kept faithful to Roddenberry's vision. Not drag in a self-absorbed hipster agnostic to a property he just does not understand.

Pine' a handsome fella. And he may well be a nice guy. Im not saying otherwise. But he just wasn't Kirk.

  • @ReverendSyn The Character was extremely unkirklike in a lot of ways, and sometimes more kirklike than Kirk.

You could also have pointed out that Sulu was too young to have been in the academy with Kirk and Chekov wouldn't have even been old enough to have left school. And McCoy would have been at least a Lieutenant when Kirk was an ensign.

  • It's a different time line now.

  • But with the altered timeline Generations doesn't have to happen, hell, they could have Kirk and Picard fighting the borg in the delta quadrant in the next movie if they want to.

  • they could this "reflecting back on his young days" thing and cut between present and past. or viceversa.Aka "the diary writer" as its called in dramatic writing. It doesnt at all have to be some timetravel plotline for it to make sense. Yeah, now when I hear them discussing, I really do believe they coulda cut in the older James T. Kirk into the new star trek movie, without doing some timetravel thing..and I would love to see it!!

  • maybe JJ is talking about a cameo, a William Shatner appearance, but not a Kirk appearance?

  • I'm wondering if the new Trek time line will allow for a possible Kirk re-surfacing. His death may have never happened. Kirk couldn't live as long as Spock, of course, but they can do whatever the hell they want with time travel.

  • "whatever the hell they want with time travel".... Amen, brother. Amen. ; D

  • After watching this look up the video where he speaks directly into the camera, addressing J.J. Abrams personally, and says no-one offered him a part in the new Star Trek film.

  • A part, as opposed to a tiny cameo that wouldn't be worth the effort.

The thing is, he is way past Star Trek, if he was desperate to take part, he would have jumped at the little cameo they offered him.

  • actually most canadians i've met are pretty laid back. almost to the point of fault actually.

  • couldn't agree more CoolDojo, and Koko, people aren't into introspection and soul searching due to impatience and the fact that more often than not it makes characters Emo, don't spread your jaded and outdated Vietnam era hippie style of criticism here

I find it funny how you immediately think anyone who doesn't agree with your point of view is automatically a moron, news flash kiddo, not everyone agrees with your point of view and many of em are smarter and wiser than you have displayed.

  • Highly doubtful.

  • wow, beautiful retort, took you 5 months to come up with that one?

  • Actually having something be _x10 to the __ is normal scientific notation Kokopuff, also, the new Trek film was allot of fun, of course there were some science and logic errors, but I come to expect that from Star Trek, at least I didn't have to turn off my brain to even come close to enjoying it like watching Voyager and Enterprise, though saying the new trek was better than them isn't saying much. I do look forward to what they have next, it only really felt like TOS at the end of the film.

  • COSIMO FUSCO IS PLAYING KHAN!!! The sequel should be interesting. :)

  • As a BIG star trek fan I must say I'm not disappointed in the movie- of cours its in no way as good as it was with the original and NG crew but it was a lot better than the ST IX and VII ..........

  • The new Star Trek Movie was great...It captured the essence of the old show perfectly!

  • you could have do that the same way how you made cpt. pickard met cpt. kirk in the movie.

  • Best Trek movie ever.

  • he confuses me! first he says he in, then he's not, and he seemed mad in one interview

  • I was waiting all the time for him to say "DENNY CRANE!"

  • Its an FX maven's plump morsel. The simple, self-serving plot makes it a chicken hawk, gaming vidiot's, wet-dream of a movie. It crams & jams the action & re--the show's history at warp speed complete with techno babble & GI Joe sentimentality. Kirk is a gung-ho, punk recycled from Tom Cruise's Pop Gun. But the movie's real inspiration is the camp classic, Starship Troopers. The Ohura/Spock love nesting is about as exciting as peanut butter & jelly only PB&J has better chemistry.

  • I look at it this way. Kirk had his fun in Generations, now it's time for Spock to have his fun in Star Trek :P

  • Good Point:P

  • that is a fucking awesome way of looking at it, kudos man! haha

kirk isnt interesting enough to span this far

    spock merits so much more

  • They're going to totally ruin, whatever is left to ruin, this franchise. It looks like it's going to be just another trashy action movie like every other Tom Cruise, Bruce Willis movie.

That's not to say that those previous ones weren't bad. The movie where they killed Kirk was a grade D movie, basically made for TV quality.

  • Can't agree with it being grade D, IMO at least a B.

But I kinda agree I think this one is gonna be terrible. Movies aren't like they used to be, they are stupid action movies with silly over the top costumes, special effects, and music completely lacking character and plot and this movie appears to fit that bill. You can't replicate the magic of the original Spock, Bones, Kirk, Scotty, Sulu, Uhura, and Checkov together but this movie doesn't even try, played by a bunch of stupid teenagers.

  • not sure where youre getting your facts, bro

but if this is what you gathered from a trailer or somethin, i suggest you visit the wikipedia page for a few minutes

  • your right... them dam teenagers. lets see william shatner up there jumping off of space ships... that would make a great closing of the movie, where he has a heart attack... nice thinking... and isnt it called star trek: the beginning? when was the beginning? when they were 60? wow dude...

  • Fortunately you were all wrong. The movie is really cool. Just saw it yesterday, it was a pleasant surprise.

  • I totally agree with qwertzwasd, the new movie was great. I was raised on Star Trek by my mother, who literally used to record the dialogue of the old series so she would have something to listen to at work, and I would say that certainly is a Trekkie qualifier right there. I personally didn't/don't take Star Trek that seriously, but I have to honestly say, being a lifetime fan of the franchise, the new movie has done, and is going to do, wonders for reviving the franchise.

  • The new movie was phenomenal. Excellent acting to go along with amazing special effects.

  • How so? Acting? Special effects? Yeah that's all of what the Star Trek universe is about. The movie blew. It was a slap in the face of Roddenberry.

  • Acting was good, special effects A+ (obviously).

The movie was excellent, great reboot to the stale shit that was Trek. Only next gen movie that was good was First contact.

  • Remind us which decade didn't have "stupid action movies with silly over the top costumes, special effects, and music completely lacking character and plot". 90s? 80s? 70s?

  • True that, but it seems that is ALL Hollywood produces today, with the very rare exception. This generation of movie goer is all about their T&A, car chases, shit blowing up, ect... Things like quality of acting, dialog, plot and character development take a back seat. So Hollywood caters to this type of audience because they need to turn a profit.

I don't think any objective person could argue that the quality of films hasn't declined over time.

  • It's a cyclical thing. When I was at pop-cinema age we seemed to be continuously bombarded with 2D action heroes. The first five minutes would have him lose a family member or 'buddy', the next ten minutes would be him strapping guns to himself, along with laser sights, rocket launchers, claymores; slowly pulling on leather gloves. The remainder of the film would be a display of the most preposterous - I'm using the cheat mode - gun play. It was considered at the time, that cinema was finished.

  • Even the plastic Generation Y following me may demand more serious viewing, once they realise that things aren't always as cosy as the bubble they grew up in. A bit of uncertainty is bound to change the tone again.

  • You hit the nail on the head. You couldn't have a movie in which the characters cause any kind of soul searching or introspection. The youth of today have been bred to be cannon fodder for war and their corporate overlords can't have them actually thinking critically. The Pentagon influences many shows and movies that push the agenda of globalist elites like 24 and what not. The whole neocon thread in Enterprise about torture being needed was part of that series failing. Just think about it.

  • It's refreshing to hear that not everybody is a mindless drone. People like yourself and I are bad Americans because we're actually capable of critical thinking. They don't want people like that. If enough of us got together we could be dangerous. Everything is geared towards turning our youths into drones just happy for their daily dose of reality TV, ITunes and XBox Live. As long as the masses are busy with those things they'll be oblivious to what's really going on.

  • They'll see what's going on soon enough. The establishment have stroked their self esteems&made them complacent. Perhaps they will wake up when they are being ground up in the meat grinder of the coming wars to secure dominion over the worlds natural resources and new colonialism. Sadly it isn't just the young, there are huge swaths that get the same brainwashing from Rush and others.I used to love listening how blatantly Rush would sing the praises of the intelligence of his minions.

  • dude, go back to the 70s, it's got plenty of hippies for you to mingle with and even has TOS in all it's original glory.

  • wtf?

  • @JunmaiShu: Because you don't like the new movie doesn't make you smarter than the rest of us-just an obdurate troll stuck in the past.

  • I don't recall claiming to be smarter than anyone else. Just pointing out the obvious decline in quality from the movie industry over time that any objective person would acknowledge.

    The new movie wasn't bad.

  • @JunmaiShu: Oh please, you think that American movies aping foreign ones and mostly dealing in the same god-dammed kitchen sink shite is amazing? I'd rather be entertained by the Transformers or any sci-fi/fantasy movie snobby assholes put down than any of the movies given 5+stars by film critics (not all, but most.)

  • Oh yeah,. Star Trek is part of the NWO's way of controlling us.

  • When its story lines started making torture a plausible state policy it did. I guess you live in a world where artists aren't subject to monetary pressures. How nice for you.

  • in which episode was this that they made torture seem acceptable?

  • Moron, try reading the whole thread before you try to sound informed.

  • I have better things to do than wade through 300+ comments for random conspiracy theorist bull. tyvm ;)

  • I've got an actual life, unlike you. I respond in my good time.

  • lmao so the fact that I happen to be on YouTube right now means I have no life? yeah, that's a real enlightened view.

  • @Perion: None, and not in the movie either (it was Nero that did this, NOT Kirk & Co.)

  • @Neville6000 My point exactly.

  • Was the decline in popularity part of the NWO's plan too?

  • What makes you think I watch John Stewart?

  • @kokobaboko: Do you know how preposterous and childish you sound with the kind of statements you're making about this movie, that are just reaching? And reaching badly?

  • @stevensw: And people like you are going to hate, because you are troll stuck in the past, whining your heads off like little babies.

  • @charlesvan13: Grade D only to obdurate fools/trolls like yourself, stuck in the past (and who didn't like the Star Trek of Berman & Braga anyway.) Feeing old? Needing Geritol and Depends? get over yourself, and stop bing such a stuck up asshole who thinks that he's smarter than anybody else, and is more of a true fan of Star Trek than anybody else. All you really are is a 'foundamentalist' obsessed with the founding moment of Star Trek way too much.

  • The real reason shatner isnt in the movie= The clip of him fighting the lizardman is all over youtube. LMFAO

  • there's time travel in this film. i guess shatner didn't want to ruin it, or he actually didn't know.

  • the original spock is in it

  • that's because Leonard Nimoy is awesome XD

  • That's because Spock isn't dead

  • Yeah, Spock apparently lives a damn long time in the Star Trek universe. Those crazy Vulcans

  • KHAN!!!!!!

  • Hollywood are effing immoral greedy dicks. You can't REMAKE Captain Kirk. There is only one (in the Immortal words of Father Merrin - of The Exorcist to the uninitiated). If the capitalistic prats would just STOP remaking EVERYTHING and just leave us some untouched classics for the next generation (not exactly pun intended) then your kids wouldn't grow up as psychos hooked (!) on SAW!

  • i don't see why that is soo wrong, kids now-a-days have no interest in star trek. if we add REALISM, maybe they will like star trek. most people when they think of star trek they think of the terrible graphics and acting of TOS. i think a remake is needed. i am excited about this movie. you think a starship made out of cardboard on a string as exciting you need help. i hated star trek until i saw "star trek: enterprise"

  • I partially agree. For me DS9 was the point where it started to get interesting.

  • I agree that TOS could use a remake but not like this. I think they could have added 'realism' without the make out scenes. I have never been a huge fan of TOS. I grew up watching TNG. Still, this new movie really does look like a money grab and I'd hate to see Star Trek become the next tween sensation or something like that.

  • Hasn't ST always tried to sell with sex? Even in the pilot ep. of TOS it was primarily about a woman trying to seduce Cpt. Pike. Of course it was less direct back then. There were short tight dresses for female officers, or extremely tight jumpsuits like Major Kira, 7/9 or Subcomm. T'pol. I remember the "training" scenes with Diana Troy and Dr. Crusher, the scene where Q undresses 7/9, the famous Decon scenes on the NX01...

Personally I accepted a long time ago that ST as we know it is over..

  • Because Kirk never left the Nexus.. thats how :D

  • Yes he did he came back to help Picard

  • or did he? I still say he never left the Nexus.. neither did picard.. and the real enterprise blew up with planet. >:)

It was all just a figment of the Nexus

  • you can't die in the nexus.

  • Could have been Picard's personal Nexus

  • AHHH! I see!!! That actually is frikin perfect, because it wipes clean all those NextGeneration movies off the slate. And of course it preserves Kirk the only true trek Milestone. And 3rd it gives the greatest twist of all time. The only problem is that it shatters the whole ending of an otherwise great movie. Generations was so promising for it's future movies. But shattering a good ending is worth erasing all those NGeneration movies.

  • you guys are making my head spin, lol

  • Anyone know where i can see the full interview?

  • im worried too

  • Typo? I don't think so. Since when did Sulu became a Zulu? Proof read or learn how to spell people please. But as far as the new Trek movie...... I can't wait to see it.

  • Be nice; S and z are right above one another on the board; it he'd said 'Lulu' or something else, then you'd have a case.

  • Shatner, and the original cast... all legends

  • Can't agree enough :)

  • HA HA HA. I cant believe William Shatner is saying this. HE WROTE A BOOK WHERE KIRK GOT RESSURECTED BY THE BORG AND STUFF. That's how they bring kirk back.

  • I know I was thinking the same thing! Its freaking sci fi, anything can happen, if the money is right of course! LOL. I just saw a Red Dwarf episode here where like 3 or 4 of the dudes came back to the same point in time so they were all together in the same room, it was hilarious. Check out the Red Dwarf "Stasis Leak" episode here on youtube, very funny! I don't think Shatner wants to be an old Kirk so that's why he wont do it. I cannot blame him either! I like the young 1960's Kirk!

  • reply to: "I cant believe William Shatner is saying this. HE WROTE A BOOK WHERE KIRK GOT RESSURECTED BY THE BORG..."

Believe it. It just shows he doesn't write those books. A ghost-writer does and shatner collects a check for lending his name. Apparently, he doesn't even read them. Does he not even remember Spock dying and coming back. He had to read the script for that movie. Maybe he just read his lines. He may really have mad cow, like Denny Crane.

In sci-fi all things are possible!

  • Just because all things in sci-fi are possible, that doesn't necessarily mean that something should be done. They did something somewhat similar in the Star Trek: Generations movie, and that movie isn't really all that good.

  • The more I watch this, the more pissed off I get. Im weighting Paramount and I ask you to do the same.

  • You're "weighting" Paramount? You mean, you're "writing" Paramount?

  • Knowing Shatner this probably came down to money and screen time(same old story). I agree that it would be nice to see old cast but only as cameo appearences. Its kind of painful to see the age of some of them.

  • All legends

  • Everything after Voyager doesn't even exist to me. I don't think I will ever care about Trek again in this lifetime.

  • perhaps this movie will change your mind, i hate everything after TNG, but maybe this flick will turn out okay

  • AS far as the other trek shows i enjoyed watching TNG, and deep space nine. Voyager i did not like, and enterprise had potential but the wrong ppl were in charge. Characters i love besides the originals are picard, warf, data, laforge, cpt. sisko. The borg was an incredible villain. Im not a trekke fanatic but i always enjoyed watching star trek movies and the shows. Abrams if you bring heart to the movie it will be a success

  • Original Kirk, spock(which is in it), zulu, deserve to be in this movie. This could be the last time you'll see nimoy and shatner together. Sorry everyone but shatner and nimoy are the stars of star trek since the beginning till the end. When they are gone star trek will never be again. I would hope abrams somehow brings kirk back. And i also hope abrams brings heart to this movie. It has potential to be great with the right choices and acting.

  • william shatner rocks

  • Shatner Claims he never spoke to JJ Abrams.

  • There was actually a meeting or two between J.J. and Shatner apparently in 2006 or 2007.

  • I think your digging a little too deep on this subject..I mean who really cares either way? Who on earth really cares about Scotty's nephew, I don't even remember him lol

  • I feel bad for the Shat having to lie about this. It was well-documented he was very upset that JJ wasn't going to bring him into the new movie, but only Leonard Nimoy.

  • I don't feel bad for him one damn bit. He didn't have to lie. He should have told the truth. That would have gained him some real sympathy at least.

I might have felt bad for him if he just looked at Ferguson and said, "JJ Abrams didn't want me in the film"

Not a good tactic on Shatner's part.

  • Agreed. And in the EW article, Shatner himself said that he told Abrams it would be easy to bring Kirk back from the dead, even gave some examples. Quite a different story than what Shatner is saying above. IMHO, any of the ST movies made now don't need Shatner's Kirk for credibility. It always was, and always shall be (lol) Nimoy's Spock that provided the strongest credibility and emotional bridge for ST fans. I totally enjoy Shatner on Boston Legal, but I think his Kirk is best left dead.

  • Yeah, and though I know Shatner is respected, but Shatner did lose credibility with fans on a personal basis (being rude at conventions, etc) where as Nimoy has always been cordial.

  • Nemoy aint playing spock its the guy that plays sylar out of heroes that is playing spock in the new movie

  • However, I believe Nimoy is making a cameo, but I'm not sure. It sure as hell is his voice on the trailer, lol

  • also sean/shaun penn from shaun of the dead is playing scotty apparentley though he actually isnt scottish which is odd seen as scotty is but im sure he will pull it off

  • Actually, the actor who played scotty (james doolan??) was canadian. And his impersonation of a scottish accent was diabolical!! it wan't even slightly close to the real thing! trust me, i'm from scotland.

  • So you would rather him wine on national TV?

  • Well, yeah the movie came out in the early 80's...just watch ST2 and ask yourself...."Why did he bring him to the bridge instead of sickbay to get treated?" Who knows...maybe McCoy could of saved him. =p
