I'm using Cogwheel's RTAB and DerVVulfman's BattleStatus Modification for Cogwheel's RTAB.
I have altered a number of things within the script, such as the position of the on-screen layout but haven't altered the scripts to make any dramatic changes.
The Camera feature is built in with the battle script. However, I'm still trying to modify it so make it work when I want it. But right now, I'm building around the camera.
The layout, I was able to achieve by altering the x and y values of the specific object from the BattleStatus Modification.
I got the status window part but how do you make it so you see the back of your characters when in battle. Sorry for so many questions, the battle system just looks great.
That's the intention of what I'm trying to create. I only put that in for what I'm trying to achieve. I haven't actually been able to successfully make it appear and then disappear during the attack animation.
At this stage, I'll be cutting that behind the back thing out for the moment and focusing on the necessities. However after all that, I'll be working on that feature for extras.
Don't worry about asking heaps of questions. I'm happy to answer them for you.
okay one last question, and if you hadn't noticed, I'm not very good at scripting, how would you align the characters to the right of the screen and the status window to the left. Oh! and is the any expected date for the game?
It's a bit fuzzy in my head at the moment seeing it's been a while since I've worked on it, but for the status window, try altering x and y values at lines 424-449 in the BattleMod Script. As for the characters, I'll get back to you about that later.
Also, there is no expected release for the game. However, I can guarantee at least 3 minutes game play footage, if not more by at least next year. I'll be working on it for my major project, but paperwork comes first unfortunately.

So how did you get the layout like it is and to get the camera to zoom in when you select the monster.
