  • YOU GODLESS, HIPPIE-SKANK!!

  • Pierce is so gross in this episode.lmao

  • This timeline is kinda sad because everything starts out great for everyone and then it all falls apart and everyone is bitter towards each other. All because Abed left. LOL

  • @mupty But Abed got a nickel in the end. That trumps even the evil timeline.

  • Clearly jeff was the bad guy.

  • I SPOT NINTENDO 64 CONTROLLERS

  • the Hate timeline!! xD

  • This is a very realistic timeline I think though.

  • Point of this timeline: Abed's detachment from "reality" prevents people from reaching each other's TRUE colors. In the end they learn more about each other, both good and bad. Without Abed, their relationships cannot continue as they are because they learn TOO MUCH about one another.

  • Just goes to show that without Abed the whole group crumbles.

  • This can't be the real timeline. The episode switch is causing all the confusion. The prime timeline has to be the one where Abed catches the die.

  • abed's little smile at the end is so cute! and yes, jeff and annie need to have at least a one night stand.

  • I will not stand for this show getting cancelled before Annie and Jeff have sex.

  • @sexybacklemon why?!!?!? that's disgusting, Community is much more than just two main characters sleeping together!

  • @ScrappySuper91 I think that comment was slightly over exaggerating the posters desire to see something substantial happen between Jeff and Annie. Sex is a little too far for their relationship on screen because of the nature of their relationship, but I do agree that I am excited for something substantial to happen.

  • THIS TIMELINE BENEFIT ABED THE MOST! the rest is just having bad and awkward moments hahaha

  • I loved Shirley in this episode. I hope they give her more scenes this season.

  • Much like Troy's timeline being symbolic of disaster, I think Abed's timeline is symbolic of misery. The group would be miserable and bitter without Abed in it. And he's the only one happy in this scene. Heehee.

  • I DEMAND TO BE HOUSEWARMED!

  • 2:29 for the greatest face ever.

  • ''I gotta say I hope this is the real timeline because I just found a nickel in the hallway!''

I have to find a way to say that in real life somehow.

  • This is not the real timeline. The main timeline is the prime reality one where Abed catches the dice. Even Dan Harmon has stated this. The episode switch is what has caused all these timeline speculations. While it would have been awesome had this been a clever twist at the end of the season, I'm more than happy enough to enjoy the concept and laugh at the consequences of each timeline than to speculate endlessly.

  • @SGuyQST I told ya!

  • @SGuyQST That still doesn't solve the problem of how 303 references the Eartha Kitt thing AND Shirley knowing Britta is a stoner. Those two things didn't happen in the prime timeline.

  • @yetzer19

What aired as episode 3, is actually the 4th episode of the 3rd season that they produced. They 3rd episode they had planned was the timeline episode which wasn't finalised. So while the show aired it 4th, it is actually chronologically happens before the Todd episode. People are overthinking the deepness of this episode switch.

The link I posted doesn't seem to work now, so just go to danharmon.tumblr.com and read the article,

"Fine, we’re geniuses but not EVIL geniuses."

  • @yetzer19

Sorry just realised what you meant. Shirley found out about Britta's drug thing in Abed's timeline and Pierce mentioned Eartha Kitt in all timelines except the main one. Well, I think it's just a goof in continuity. Or it still could have been revealed later on in the party but not actually shown and we are to assume the case.

  • @SGuyQST I know, I read Dan Harmon's tumblr. I just don't think he really addressed the issue at hand. It is a goof. And there's really no reason to complain, except that it's just the one flaw in a really, absolutely phenomenal episode. Probably the best thing I've ever seen on Community

  • the best timeline!

  • @anyicitag This is the REAL timeline!

  • @Frank144 noo it isn't!!!

  • @anyicitag its kinda hinted it is, with the nickel finding and Shirley knowing about her "dope lighter" and its suggested this happens before episode 3, but I think that's just for fans to notice tbh

  • @DrNaviii sorry I'm a big fan of Community but I still don't get it. I'd really appreciate if you make it clear to me thanks!!!!!

  • @anyicitag

This is why people think the Abed timeline is real.

  • @anyicitag its now being stated by Dan Harmon that this is not the case, but the theory was
