I'm very impressed with this drummer. I always thought it was too bad the splash cymbal went out of style. The violinist has nice dance steps (as well as being able to play). The er hu player is quite hip in her harmonic concept. (heh heh).
pretty amazing music, really nice actually , and what is that asian instrument? I'd say as a white blooded american folk guitarist who can barely play a C7
loved it.. erhu player added the needed flavour to the intro.. but Naoko Terai always manages to gives the tracks that extra bit that makes me attracted to jazz.
a novel concept, using a chinese instrument for jazz, but its not doing much for me. A bit boring, not quite Grapelli. Just my opinion. Anyone care to disagree?

Good bit passion though...when I watch jazz pianists they always seem to have amazing technique. These guys, they're ok I guess.
