No. He didn't live there all he live he was simply born there and then lived in England for the rest of his life. Went to Eton (very english) went to Oxford (very english) so i think he has very good reasons to be Mayor or London.

@MusketPower A rather sweeping statement. I think the fact he was awarded a scholarship to go to Oxford and was elected President of the Oxford union, not something achieved lightly, proves he probably is rather intelligent, though as mentioned further down he is undoubtedly a buffoon!

Then he increased the fares on public transport by 30%. Boris is trying to keep the rich happy as are the rest of the tory party. Otherwise why is he making the poor or the Green pay more. Well it is bad you have to pay a higher fair in the north you ought to be on my side with this one.
No one, no matter how carismatic their personality, can justify imposing an inflation busting fair increase to an already fare ticket price .
Remember the cost of living and buying a house is far more in London than it is in the north so this kind of thing hits people even harder.

£1.20 for a single fucking bus ride. What does he think he is playing at.
That is a 20% increase in price and exactly the same service.

Just because you pay an utterly horrific price for the bus where ever you happen to be in this country does not mean that it is right for the London Mayor to raise the price of bus travel way above the rate of inflation.
