drifting was so cool when it was done late at night in the middle of nowhere in cheap wrecks with backyard mods......sort of like a jap version of salt lake racing if u will.

when the yanks started running events at banked speedways, competeing in half million dollar cars made of "unobtainium" everything with a full pit crews running out of an 18 wheelers and being watched by thousands of spectators it really lost its "soul"

That said, I gotta give MAD props to Pat and his AE86. I just recently got my hands on my 1985 Corolla GT-S (Trueno) Hatchback. It's been my dream car for a few years now... Since about right before I started to go see DMCC.

I'll post up videos of my project shortly. More as the months pass and the parts start to come in!

What parts of the specification is flawed in the F20c just cause it's has a shorter stroke to make power at the top end ? Or something else ?

@FaithJr there is no dough they handle 600+ bone stock, but i respect the engineers who put all their knowledge into building the first 125hp/L production engine.

they are so responsive and fun n/a, why kill it with turbo lag?

to each their own, i would never turbo a k, and f20 or a 4age thats just disrespectful lol.

you dont know how much hp these guys are makin nowadays with their v8's and rb's and such in pro drifting.

@Markitos203 True there can be turbo lag, but everything can be compensated with a proper set up.

People who don't know how to set up a turbo, and just slap a large turbo on will get lag and 2k rpms of full boost.

While some of the guys I've done turbos for would do 4age-t bone stock blue top with stock compression and still run a low boost set up to rid of what non torquey motors have, mid power.

I' own a 4age, driven a F20c 86 and now it's time to play with a turbo F20c, haha. Cheers.
