@thegoodbrother: I was told that the reason Luther's wasn't bigger is because his type of music mostly appeals to Blacks. There may be a few Whites who buy his cds but mostly Blacks. As a matter of fact when i did the research and discovered that he only sold 40 million over his entire career...because with a voice like his i would have thought at least 100 million sold. When you look at people selling mega millions with much less talent.....it lets you know we have not come that far in America.
@thegoodbrother: I heard somebody say that Luther's music was too Black and didn't have cross over appeal to reach a bigger audience or fan base(meaning White people). When i found out he only sold 40 million in his entire career i was shocked because to me he has one of the most remarkable voices of all times. I guess to be too Black is not a good thing in this society.
Back in the day, we had what were called "album cuts". Those were the songs on the album that didn't get radio play, but were some of the better tracks that would go on to be more memorable than the radio hit. thats' what would sell the whole thing. This is one of those "album cuts that helped this album become a fav of Luther fans.
I didn't know there was an official music video for this song; I remember it was on the CD "I Know", released in '98. It was possibly Luther's poorest reviewed album, but I do like this track.
i love this song!!!!!

This reminds me of when I was in high school. Didn't the radio version have a female rapper featured? I love Luther's smile. May he rest in peace.
