I got 3 other people to pull their cash out and only do basic transactions. One person tried to pull out their money and it took 3 days because they said they didn't have enough! How insane is that. So if there's a bank run there's not enough physical money for everyone. When the SHTF people are going to lose their minds.
for the most part silver HAS outperformed the miners. However, going forward a lot of miners will outperform the physical. The key (obviously) is picking the right stocks. There are some great silver analysists out there, David Morgan has a good track record with his newsletter and a few others. I like physical best but I do own some miners, I guess time will tell.

Result? fed will have to start printing money again, no matter they're saying no more. Result? gold and silver will continue to be increasingly worth more than dollars.
I do not look at price in dollars beyond comparing it to something else. You see silver could drop to $2 but that number is meaningless if we where issued new money or something like that. Thus I look at silver from the point of view as what I can buy with it and what I should be able to buy with it based on historic norms.

@stefanb1977 if the miners aren't putting out enough silver to keep up with demand at higher prices earlier and hedge fund smell weakness they can short (not naked short) the miners of their choice and get leverage up with etf's which are 2x plus their own use of margin. I think they did. I think they might have had enough as the prices have hit down & now the cycle is to go up with silver. Silver will go down a bit more but the miners may correlate again with silver's moves
