They are exremely unpredictable. to others.You know how many people end up in the emergency room every year due to severe dog bites?-- and how many kids are killed by pit bulls etc.-- Are you afraid for kids when they approach a cat they don't know? How about a Pit Bull Boxer- Shephard or Rott?

You obviously have never had a cat and I hope you never do have a cat, you're not worthy. Cats are NOT dumb, nor are they useless. Cats are very smart creatures. Have you NEVER seen one? They also aren't useless! They hunt rats, eat snakes, and can be very friendly.

mabye if you'd stop being a blatant hater the cat would like you. my cat didnt like my dad because my cat knew my dad didnt like my cat. then my dad warmed up to Silky an now Sliky regards my dad as a buddy.

think of it this way:
If your house caught on fire, and you were trapped inside, the cat would be smart enough to escape, while the dog runs back in to find you.
