The fact that you call people nerds and idiots says a lot about your upbringing more than it does about me. I won't even put effort into that part of your crass statements.

I know Rieu is good at what he does, God knows I hear enough of him. But he played that an octave too high, it was shrill and awful sounding. But the ending with the choirs was superb.

As a huge Titanic soundtrack perfectionist, trust me when I say this: THE OCTAVE IS WRONG.

i don't know if you know anything about rieu, -and i didn't before this week, eventhough i'm dutch too,- but if you see his newest concert, on wich there work about 200-300 persons, i think you'd know that he knows what he is doing. And he does it well.

The violin is too high...slightly piercing, but certainly not bad. The orchestra sounds great...then again...they almost always do.
