  • So in conclusion, if you are taller than the average dummy then this car is not for you.

  • ein schrotthaufen!!!

  • yeah crash that shit heap :D

  • what a moron, he saw the wall coming and kept accelerating, somebody spend this dummy a brain^^

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! GIVE IT TO ME MOTHER FUCKERS!!!!!

  • @saucywalnuts Dude your fucking 14 and your talking about peoplethat cant drive you havent even been behind the wheel pussy

  • @SkillerScopz well said bro

  • @SkillerScopz your age is a bit off ive been driving longer than u have been taking a dick.

  • Crash safety is for pussys who can't fucking drive for shit.

  • @saucywalnuts It's not always going to be you causing the accident.

  • @pianistkevinjang good point

  • if a car is safe, it will be forever safe. even though it's a generation or more old, it will be safe. old or new. so you can't reason out that old ford is shit and new one rules. this is clearly unsafe. the a-pillar will smash your head. if you want a safe car, overlook the American vehicles and buy a Volvo.

  • i was like noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • and...... you're dead!

  • 0:08, there goes your front wheel. :/ That's not working any more.

  • Ето видео пронзило мое сердце(

  • Your face would be fucked. look at how the dummy smacks its head on the top of the windshield.... owwwwww. :\

  • Well, your Mustang would be totalled, but you wouldn't...

  • Nooooooooooooo!!!!!

  • Clearly nobody in the auto industry knows how to make an airbag/crash pulse for car. I did the fist airbag for passengers... 16 years later, they still don't get it. Look at the crash "pulse"...it sucks. You cannot do it this way.

I had a meeting today with a major airbag manufacturer...still don't get it. This entire industry is a sitting duck. All the inflators can be made obsolete by new engine technology...but they arrogantly can't see they could be out of business soon...amazing.

  • "Fords, their tough" what movie?

  • call me old or call me pussy, but i'de rather be sitting in a volvo while i crash....

  • that dummy forgot to brake

  • @NickMercurio lol very clever

  • Suck a cool car.Why the americans just dont build it better ????

  • this is shit

  • You guys are retards and know nothing about cars.

It's not about how much the car crumples. The crumpling is made to absorb the kinetical energy, so it wouldn't reach the driver and hurt him.

  • @ErlendAnderson ...well that impact definitely looked like it went right to the dummy as well O.O

  • Wtf is so amusing about this... When any car hits a concrete wall at 55 mph, its not like its gunna get away with as much as a scratch, its gunna get owned!

  • I didn`t like the windscreen movement

  • SAFE xD

  • lol nice

  • can i have the crashed car pls?

  • if they didn't want this car, they could give it to me! no reason to destroy it!!

  • @bestpilot90 What?

  • what a shitty car

  • @dynexs It pretty safe for Car size with power of a truck...

  • The sticker on the side kept the door from buckling.

  • @bovlch no it didnt, thats think material in the door.

  • @bovlch i dont know if thats the sticker, it might be but its hard to tell from the video. it might be an internal part that we cant see very well.

  • the crash test is done at 65km/h except you dont drive at 65kmh in a mustang

  • Cheats, an extra absorbsion section on the impact block to lessen the damage effect.

    Death by Disappointment

  • pssh...at least it wus only a v 6 it ok ....NO GTS WHERE HARMED IN THE MAKEING OF THIS VIDEO

  • @123ryancarter it says GT on the side.....

  • @slyhitman214 oh shit it does

  • aaaaw that hurts so bad to see that mustang getting crashd D:

  • that is terrible. im glad my parents tradded theirs in.

  • pamiętajcie że to cabrio

  • isn't that what we expect of a Ford?

  • Its so sad ):

  • The dummy almost ate the windshield.

  • so is this good or bad? cause i've just bought a 2006 gt and i want to know if i would survive a crash like this lol

  • That's a lot of flex, even for a drop-top. I expected better from such a well known manufacturer as Ford.

  • i had a 08 mustang convertable and let me tell yea...it was a piece of shit. lolol seeing this puts me to comfort.

  • LOL since when the americans can build good cars? How the fuck its possible that this car, which I love btw, gets more fucked up than a Smart? Its unbelieveble how they still make crappy cars. My advice to american engineers: come to Europe and learn something.

  • I'm surprised how many idiots think a rigid car is better to wreck in.

  • wow the whole car flexed hmm not very rigid

  • @defkon99 That's the point dude!

  • @animal900 Yea thats the point but its just goes to show how crappy the Mustang was made

  • @defkon99 a completely rigid car = full transmission of force to the occupants = death by trauma.

the idea is to has a soft crumple zone to dissipate as much momentum as possible THEN a rigid safety cell around the occupants to stop impact.

This is not an example of 'crappy' manufacturing

  • @NeoTranshuman That's right, we have cheap and SKILLED labor! This is why Detroid sucks---> empty heads, too high wages an shit cars:)). Google----> Detroid closed factories (media search) LoL.

  • did you notice how the windshield area looked like it was going to snap on dudes head. no way.

  • @NeoTranshuman in my 3'rd world country madethe Mercedes A Class and the Audi TT Coupe, why Americans are shit ourselves :) so, stfu wanker emigrant. BTW, usa have largest nadion debt : $13.92 trillion . So, is this why USA the best? Biggest debt and shit cars :)).

  • Such a cool car why the americans just dont build it better ????

  • To the fools complaining that they're ruining a perfectly good car.

They only test a few, and the reason they test is to make sure the car is less likely to kill you once you get your hands on it and inevitably crash it into a tree.

This seemed to hold up pretty well, good crumpling.

I'd like to see the footwell for any sign of intrusion, that front wheel was pushed back quite a it.

The last thing you want is to survive a crash and trapped in a burning car because your legs are crushed.

  • NOOOOOO HOW COULD THEY!!!

  • One mustang to trash, one.

  • why is most chevy fans searching for older crash tests of fords, so that they can find a bad one and comment on it by saying ford is shit?

  • @jaffacake1578 Idk. I never do that I just say what I think of the ford cars and the coverntible is a good and safe car.

  • @jaffacake1578 well, hell... my ford is from 1956 i sit so far in the front of the vehicle that if i would crash i'd loose my legs... but all in all, they're both great truck brands with lot's of beautiful classics and a few cool new ones

  • @jaffacake1578 this car is top for truck power engine.. plus it a convertible with no roof support

  • @jaffacake1578 2007 is old? that was only 5 years ago technology. how much advancement do you think has been made?

  • @elmo1257 A god damn hell of a lot: inflatable rear safety belts stronger metals airbag re-designs road sign recognition technology active city stop curve controll trailer sway controll blind spot information system cross traffic alert roll-trac advanced stability controll 4 disc brakes as standard instead of 2 front disc, 2 rear drum. just to list a few :)
  • @jaffacake1578 out of all those features that you just listed only the safety belt and metal enhancements are safety features. the rest are just convenience. stability control was in a 2007 model because its the law. and 4 wheel abs was always there in 2007.

  • @elmo1257 No, ESC wasn't on the Mustang until 2010 or 2011. And still today it only has combination side airbags that deploy from the seat to protect the front passengers. But no roof mounted head protecting airbags that cover the front and rear passenger's during a side collision or a rollover.

  • @elmo1257 um, no... i think you'll find these are all safety features, as tthey are designed to keep you SAFE... bloody idiot...

  • @jaffacake1578 Umm no! Go to a Ford engineer and ask if road sign recognition and blind spot monitor are safety features. I work in the auto industry you idiot and these are convenience features being that Ford doesn't want the consumer to rely on most of these features because dependence on these can cause accidents. They're only there for CONVENIENCE. Douche bag.

  • @elmo1257 well, in my s-max manual, it says these are safety features, so just STFU

  • @jaffacake1578

Haha Ford still doesn't have anything on Subaru for safety!

  • Mustangs are so overrated.

  • @JustAnotherGay96 the doors didnt actually "open" it was just knocked out of alignment with the rest of the body. this is a normal instance with all convertibles, but its not uncommon for doors to pop open on any crash, although convertibles have a bigger problem with that due to the lack of structural integrity . thats why most modern cars auto lock the doors when you first start moving or shift into drive.

  • америкосы пендосы

  • did u saw how the wind shield hit the top of the head cutting it all the way !!! fuck conbertibles

  • U FUCKING CRASH TEST A MUSTANG? Nobody ever crashes a mustang cause its just too awesome D: im crying like a little kid while watchin this ='( fuuuuuu i whish i never have watched this daaaaaaaaaaaamn it X_X

  • @xXxENTExXx They need to test it's power if they don't this car would of never been made :o

  • from 0:18 watch the side skirt fly.

  • if you guys was gonna get rid of it you could just have asked me you didnt need to cash it

  • uno alto se parte el cuello ....pf

  • Good, nice crush that means its safe in the front

  • seeing that GT badge on the side of this mustang is like rubbing salt in the wound but hey, it crashes well.

  • It'll buff out

  • i oh hi me

  • im pretty sure that driver was asian..

  • Dam those Crash-Test Dummy really don't know how to drive.

  • wow, deforming of the passenger compartment, not good. typical ford performance

  • Idiots wasted a perfectly good GT when a sixer would've sufficed just as well.

  • Comment removed

  • thats what you get for being popular

  • The people would donate their body before they die, not like they go out and grave rob people xD

  • I remember reading that either, they use to, or sometimes do, use the bodies of the deceased to get a real look at how a crash would affect a real person...

  • american engineering at its finest

  • its much safer than the corvette

  • I own a 2006 convertable GT. Does anyone no what speed they proformed this test at?????? Thanks.

  • @omarqb 40 MPH/64 KMH

  • porra lógo em um mustang

  • you end !!

  • a crash-test dummy always gets the best cars....

  • @scudwerfer how is a mustang a "best car"?

  • @scudwerfer and the worst cars !

  • @scudwerfer ...and then fucks em up...

  • @scudwerfer i know right

  • @scudwerfer

    So true

  • Wow, it looks much better now.

  • Remember the days when cars where not made out of paper?

  • @amedhat01 Like when they were death traps?

  • @antisnag no when they were not actually. when they were real cars where a 60 mph crash deforms your front 30 or 40 percent absorbing most of the energy to deform the strong body and preserving most of your engine with a long way to go before any deformation reaches your passenger compartment, rather than almost completely destroying your front quarter with your engine at that speed with anything faster deformation will start to reach you inside the compartment as with today's cars.

  • @antisnag Its not for safety as you might think, its to make cars more consumable which translates to more profits.

  • @amedhat01 I here what your saying, but cars today are much safer because of the crumple zone and all the cheap plastics and stuff they use now. Its all about design rather then raw steel and materials. Watch the 1959 chevy bel air crash test and you'll see what I mean. Due to the interior design and lack of restraints it is a death trap. With that said, I still would buy a car that was actually made of something but I would not trust my family in it.

  • @antisnag yeah i agree with you on cars as old as a 1959 chevy, but i was really referring to mid 80s and 90s cars such as a 92 caprice for example which i owned for a while. In my opinion, the cars of this era had the best of everything. It felt like a tank on 4 wheels where light accidents and sliding over ice at 25 mph and climbing a 1 foot sidewalk (actually happened to me) didn't seem to affect anything at all. didn't even tighten the wheel nuts. I wouldn't try such stuff in new cars.

  • @antisnag The '59 Chevy test was full of flaws such as the car having no running gear and the fact that the chassis was full of rust. A "new" '59 Bel Air would have performed much better.

  • they repair and sell it as new

  • @BoogerEater800 impersonating booger : bitch you a stupid cunt ! :)

  • @BoogerEater800 need a tissue booger I know your cunt is bleeding and your going through an emotional change lol .

  • @BoogerEater800 Ford will notify vehicle owners of the recall, so that dealers can install a fused wiring harness for the switch. Dealers will also inspect the ABS control connector and make additional repairs if necessary. There will be no charge for these repairs.

  • @BoogerEater800 Now Ford is recalling 1.1 million MY 1995-2003 Ford Windstar minivans as well as 3.4 million additional vehicles equipped with the switch, including Ford Excursions, Explorers and Rangers of various model years that date back as far as 1992.

NHTSA has concluded that the switch has the potential to leak internally into the antilock brake system and consequently overheat, smoke or burn.

  • @BoogerEater800 Ford Motor Co. is recalling 4.5 million vehicles because a cruise control off switch poses a fire risk, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

In the past decade, this is Ford's eighth recall involving the same switch, which is commonly known as a speed control deactivation switch (SCDS). Overall, the problem has resulted in the recall of more than 14 million vehicles.

  • @BoogerEater800 booger why dont go to nicks channel and we can fight it out there . my homie clunkerboy1 is there fighting with jdmforever11 . the channels called totaltq . you know where we fought last night . se ya there booger .

  • @BoogerEater800 booger your a pussy .

  • rustang sucks

  • Whyd they have to waste a GT? Wouldn't a V6 model have worked?

  • @brobinson75 They both have to be tested as their are a few differences.

  • (cringe)

  • not safe...

  • @3dkiller you don't even know what's safe, the car is made to spread the energy of the crash so the driver has the best chance to survive, thats called a crumple zone...

  • @marcvie9 yes with the window smashing on your head right.......

  • @3dkiller that's why they invented the airbag to prevent that, you blind ? the dummy did not hid the window maybe his hair if he has...

  • so there should be a crash test lane exactly like this one at the end of every ford assembly line to take all the fords down and do this with them!

  • heap of shit.

  • @19bengbeng69 - and why is that? the crumple zone perfectly...

  • seeing this makes me SMILE

  • that was very hard to see i <3 mustangs

  • meh, that'll buff right out.

  • does the uploader know whats the car speed?

  • In Germany they use prisoners on death row as crash testers. they get a shortened sentence if they live. lol 1000 years....I lived! -10!

  • Door buckled BAD

  • cheap ass american cars...

  • American cars.... :/

  • This is Euro-NCAP Crashtest style , not the american one :o

  • @chaingang342 No problem.

  • I hope this will never happen :D

  • not fuckin safe

  • >.< When I see this, I cry ='(

  • awww why did they have to waste a GT?

  • Almost cut the head !!! :/ ...

  • What a disaster! Safety zero

  • Wish that was Justin Beiber driving

  • @Falconsplaya Ys HAHAHAHA!

  • @Falconsplaya I wonder why this comment has less than 500 thumbs

  • @Falconsplaya why put him in a mustang? leave him as an obstacle for this test! muhahahaha!

  • @Falconsplaya get a life, seriously

  • @Falconsplaya yeah, he would drive the v6 automatic convertible version =P

  • @Falconsplaya lol well.. it was a dummy

  • @Falconsplaya He cant even afford driving :D

  • @Falconsplaya Yeah !! I wish that too !! :D
