  • Why are you wearing sun glasses!? ok... A) your inside B) your back drop is at night! SRSLY WHAT THE HELL!?

  • when the camera's come out, there are going to be videos shot in a 16:9 1440p, or 2160p.

  • @Zeldagigafan90210 My resolution is 16:9 :p

  • I was wondering if there are any codecs like the x264vfw AVI codec that will allow you to compress videos at low bitrates (2000-4000kbit/s) and still have good quality?

Most codecs and file formats seem to only have good quality if the bitrate is set to (6000-99999kbit/s). It looks like mp4/WMV/mpg/mt2s/mov need those kind of high bitrates for some reason.

  • I have a bandwidth and upload speed limit, so I need to know. :D

  • Does anyone know how to make 1080p videos using Camtasia studio?!?!?!

  • @BBC3ProgrammesInHD

lol thats what i was trying to figure out.

  • i have actually been able to do it however it took something like 3 - 4 hours to upload a 3 minute video clip!!!

I need it MUCH FASTER than that!!!

  • A 1920x1080 video has 27 times more pixels than a 320x240 video, so it's 27 times the CPU drain! I suppose you could use a lower framerate, or just stick to 720p for now. Give it four years, and it'll be a cinch.

  • @DerekForPresident

    thanks lol

Its usually alot quicker using .wmv format compared to using .mov format i found it less than half the size but still have'nt found a way to produce it as a 1080p yet!

  • Set the resolution to 1920x1080 when you are finalizing your video

  • garbage in-garbage out !

i uploaded my call of duty videos which are encoded at 8.5 mbit and they look waay better and sharper then other COD HD videos. :D

1080 is waaay to much at the moment, peeps dont have that internet/fast PCs sometimes and a HQ video does the basics really well.

    youre the man.

  • excuse me man but when i point the mouse to your HD video button there is no option that you can choose 720p or 1080p when i watch the other videos there is an options 1080 and 720 but your video shows only HD no other options which means it's only HD 720p pls explain if your video are still encoding by YouTube

  • HD could be either 1080p or 720p now. Just because you can't choose which one it is, doesn't mean there's no such thing as 1080p on YT. Pull it from your cache to confirm if you don't believe me. I'm not talking out of my colon.

  • ok thanks for the explanation

  • @DerekForPresident Thanks.

  • @sesestro you might need to update your flash player.

  • The video looks amazing. BUt as you meantioned in your live show to-night, the rendering time is a killer, plus you have a massive file you have to upload. Sometimes just looking "GOOD" is better than looking "Great!"

  • oh wow, you can see your backround in more clarity than ever before

  • I guess I should have done a better job on my background then...

  • Dude, check out all those views! It's only been 4 hours. You're doin' way better than you used to. Rock on!

  • Thanks! People love my videos that are about videos. But I do the fun ones even without the views because they're fun.

  • o.o

  • Lol, been waiting for this a long time.

  • Thanks for the info Derek. I really appreciate these kind of videos.

  • NOICE!
