can anyone tell me what were charlie higson's and alan davies's buzzer tunes called?
onetwofun 2 months ago
@onetwofun nvm, i got em both. but why were alan n stephen crying when jerusalem was played?
@onetwofun
I think they are "And did those feet in ancient time" (Jerusalem), from the poem by William Blake.
And "The English, the English, the English are best, I wouldn't give tuppence for all of the rest" by Flanders and Swann.

@Nilguiri but why were they "crying" when jerusalem was played?

Jerusalem is an unofficial national anthem for England. They sing it at international rugby matches, etc.. They were pretending to be so moved, patriotic and proud to be English, that it brought a tear to their eye.
"And did those feet in ancient time.
Walk upon England's mountains green.."
If only that elephant was called Barry.
