im a church drummer and let me tell you. You name a venue where you play every sunday (most since they first learned to walk had a pair of sticks on each hand to help with balance) to the BEST of your ability, giving it your best with enough time to spaz out and get creative? Church is the only place where a musician grows to such an extent that rival most (studied) pro drummers. I know plenty of cats that can hang with the best of them, just go to a local church on sunday and you'll understand.

@Fenderbaby94 Im in the same position. I don't know what country you live in, but im heading off to college in October to study drums, and i'll learn all about the various steps needed to get to whatever stage i want to be at, as well as learning my trade and honing my skills. The really get behind you too, and if you're good any work they find that would you suit you, the get you involved. Look around for courses/contacts like that, but don't give up. Chase your dream!
