This is a really genuine question, because I've always believed that to be a Muslim, one must believe that the Qur'an is the literal word of Allah; that one must follow the Sunnah; and that one must look to Mohammed and the Hadith for example and models for living. What exactly do 'moderate' Muslims believe and where do they find their guidance (because it couldn't be in the Qur'an, the Sunnah or the Hadith unless one cherry-picked and butchered the texts so much that they meant nothing) ?

@whitelacestrange What i find rather pathetic is at the time of her book Infidel being released the most talked about woman in the world was Paris Hilton. If more attention were to be give to Ayaan, then greater protection would be hers as would greater levels of support via the suffering she endured and the message she gives in Infidel.
I would NEVER have known about Ayaan if it wasn't for the Internet because i have not seen a SINGLE thing in a newspaper or TV news report that i know of.
