  • OUTRAGEOUS MAKEOVER HOME EDITION!!! LOL! Grover always giving Mr Johnson a hard time. XD

  • Pdq quote bengt e

  • Wo

  • does any of you need a outrageous makeover?

  • This is Grover getting back at Fat Blue for giving him such a hard time in 'Alphabet Soup'.

  • i like that frank and jerry can still get together and do these sketches there theyre really the only two left apart from dave goelz who didnt ever do much on sesame street

  • Not as good as the original waiter runs.

  • What did he say they were doing to his shag rug?

  • At first I thought "Addition" was a mistake (the real show is Extreme Makeover Home EDITION), but it's a pun. Grover ADDS doors to the house.

  • "If you're going to cry in gratitude sir, do it to camera 3"

    HAHA take that Extreme Makeover

  • Fat Blue also didn't like this video.

  • One day Fat Blue will need mental help, and he'll go to the clinic and he'll die down on the couch and he'll hear;

'Hello I am your psychologist Grover!'

  • What? Nobody faints at the end?

  • 86 the doors? How could they come up with another meaning for "eject" as the number 86?

  • They should get Grover together with Ty Pennington haha!

  • this poor blue guy just gets no slack.

  • GROVER RULZE!!!!!!

  • Are you getting the crying? I think there is value here!!!! LMFAO!!!!!!

  • This was prob one of jerrys last great performances. Hard to imagine this was just 4 yrs ago Jerry still had the scream hes always had. Now, hes too weak to perform his muppets and doesnt nearly have the lung power to yell he used to have.

  • i cant believe this still appeals to us middle schoolers.

  • lol the bull horn, classic XD. "OUTRAGEOUS MAKEOVER!!!!" lol the end also "are u getting the crying???? i think that value here" LOL LOL LOL

  • @coolkim963 But where's TY Pennington? If this is....

    *screams at 0:17*

  • @GSNLiveFree4All89 lol rofl

  • whos ty pennington?

  • Grover must be on child support with all these jobs.

  • "Are you getting the crying? I think there's value here." *SNERK* ROFL XD

  • "Nonsense. There is ALWAYS room for outrageousness."

  • Grover's gonna give the guy a stroke..lol

  • near and at the end no doors and the blue guy with the mustache start to cry.

  • at 2:47 - 2:50 LOL! OUTRAGEOUS MAKEOVER a door rotated sideways on top.

  • This is just fantastical!

  • Grover is the Best!

  • Oh, to be Frank Oz for a day!

  • "Tell the crew we're spendin' the night "lol this video is so funny

  • Grover-If you're going to cry in gratitude sir do it to camera 3. LOL!

  • at 1:10 if the second door was rotaded the other way, and the studs in the middle is remove, then you have a French door, and this would't be outrageous because the double door becomes a french door.

  • lmao i swear if i had a person like grover alway making my life miserable i will go insanse

  • Grover wont stop until Fat Blue has OVER 9000 doors XD

    Muppets FOREVER!

  • Or even 10,000!

  • Fat Blue's eyes seem to look much bigger than usual or is it me?

  • He's lucky it wasn't "OUTRAGIOUS MAKEOVER FACE EDITION!"

  • we added 1 more door, may i say rather artistically!!

  • Oh man...who doesn't love topical humor? :)

  • Hmm... A reallity show theme... is this a more recent skit for the show?

If it is, I can't believe they still have Grover and Mr. Blue doing these skits... It's been ages since I've seen Sesame Street.

  • "I want to read War and Peace in peace." I love that line!

  • 0:50 - Those construction workers look like Biff, Sully, and Stella...

  • "...and rather artistically, I might add." I love that line.

  • "I sense you are not happy...."

  • Mr. Johnson should;ve been more specific about the doors! But i love how he acts in the end! XD

  • First time i saw i was thinking "why in the world do you need 4 doors??????????????????"

  • they also could have built a railroad track through fat blue's house!

  • Why can't Grover make someone else's life miserable besides this guy?!?!?!

  • He does. He also used to pester Kermit.

  • Gonzo and Fozzie do it too.

  • Because it's funny! :)

  • to some people it is

  • "Are you getting the crying? I think there's value here!" xD

  • OUTRAGEOUS MAKEOVER!!!!!!

    Isn't this comment OUTRAGEOUS!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • LMAO @ "if you're going to cry in gratitude do it to camera three"

  • I wouldn't be surprised if Fat Blue filed a restraining order on him. XD

  • Grover's nose looks a tad loose in this skit.

  • lol

  • Poor Thing (Fat Blue was crying).

  • I'm wondering if Fat Blue will get desperate one day and tries to hire some thugs to wipe out Grover once and for all?

  • It was kind of cool to see The Muppets performing an Extreme Outrageous Makeover Home Addition, don't you think?

  • This is Frank Oz's REAL last time being with the Muppets, unless he watches them on TV. & that Pumpkin Anything Muppet is Sully, except he has eyes & an eyebrow, and performed by David Rudman.

  • @ZNKChannel Sully always had eyebrows. And the Biff-esque Muppet is Joey Mazzarino. The Stella-like may be Carmen Osbahr, though I can't tell for sure.

  • @Garrettk41 I accidently added the eyebrows thing. & I knew about Biff & Stella's performers, but I think maybe instead of Joey, Matt Vogel should've performed Biff. He'd use the voice he used for Herb the Dinosaur.

  • @ZNKChannel Possibly. But remember, those three construction workers aren't THE Biff, Sully, and Stella. The Muppet builders simply used them as inspiration.

  • @Garrettk41 I know, but still.

  • 3:04 - "It's totally outrageous, and I'm outraged at your outrageousness!" Haha!

  • We really don't blame Fat Blue for being upset when Grover annoys him.

  • @pernelldh hes just doing his jobs

  • Does Fat Blue ever get a break from Grover? Seriously, of all the times Fat Blue wants something good to eat, Grover is his waiter and things don't go good for Fat Blue.

Knowing that Sesame Street started back in 1969, I don't know how much longer the show will keep going with newer episodes. Well, as long as the little pre-school/kindergarten aged kids like it, then that is fine with me. But they won't know how good the show was when Jim Henson was still alive.

  • Yes, there was a skit that Fat Blue was in without Grover. The skit was where Fat Blue went to eat at a pizza place called "Pizzaria Dos" where people get two of everything (there were even two twin chefs). Fat Blue did get everything he asked for from the chefs but, they gave him two of everything where he told them that he can only eat and drink one thing which bothered him and made him faint at the end. Also, there were two episodes that Fat Blue came to Hooper's Store without Grover.

  • This is something they never had in my Sesame Street Days. I hope this never inspired the young viewers to do any home makeovers

  • "Are you going to cry in gratitude sir? Do it to camera 3."

"oh well Stevie, Camera crew will be spending the night!

Do, do you have a hot tub?... Are we getting the crying, i think there's value here!"

  • I like those lines that Grover said to Fat Blue. Also, I know that this is a strange question but, do you know why Fat Blue was crying at the end? (I know that he sounded more angry with all his yelling to Grover). I wonder if he was crying because he was trapped in his house with no door to enter and exit, or because that was his favorite door in his house which was gone, or maybe he was afraid to have Grover and the camera crew sleeping in his house for the night.

  • i think he cries cos of all that combined. and he would also think "why me"

  • Thank you very much. I know the other Grover and Fat Blue skit where Fat Blue cried at the end was where Grover worked at a refreshment stand at a movie theater. Probably the reason why Fat Blue was crying at the end in that skit was because for one reason, he was getting tired of seeing Grover everywhere he goes, and the other reason is that, Fat Blue got thrown across the theater and he probably hit his head and his back on the wall very hard which hurt him and made him cry.

  • ...well, fat blue is a grown man so its not likely that him hitting his head would make him cry, maybe he thought he was having a awful day and life or whatever.

  • That's true. Maybe whenever Fat Blue see's Grover or whenever Grover gives him problems, his day is not fun, and he probably gets nervous whenever he goes to a restaurant, store, etc.

  • I admire how quickly they can install doors or patch up walls to take out doors. I know that rooms were reconfigured over the years at the college I attended, and doors were taken out and there are plain walls in their place, but it couldn't have been done that quickly. Construction people do know how to patch up the walls so you don't know there was a door there.

  • 'Do you love it?'

    'NO!'

  • "You know what? Neither do I. You need another OUTRAGEOUS MAKEOVER!"

    "OH NO!"

  • Fat Blue looks and sounds like Sonny Bono, and whines like him too.

  • OMG how hysterical is that?!?!?!?

  • there's 1 thing they're forgetting, the bus.

  • a door on the ceiling?? lol thats is getting weird

  • 1 borin door, lol the door''s fine, lol

  • LOL!

  • Grover is forever loved for his incompetency, his blue fur and his outrageous sense of humor

  • hahahaha i love grover

    thanx for post....

  • This is (bullhorn) OUTRAGEOUSLY FUNNY!

  • I'm so glad someone posted this video!

  • I wish somebody would upload that one episode where Guy Smiley sang "Gone With The wind"....

  • I remember reading that Frank commits only one day a year to tape new stuff for Sesame Street, and after 2002, it was STRICTLY Bert. No Cookie Monster. No Grover. Just Bert. So, my theory is that since they've brought back the whole Fat Blue/Grover routine, Frank decided to perform Grover just for that.

  • It is not true that he has agreed to only perform Bert since 2002. He still performs all of his characters, but only on a limited basis (one or two days a year).

  • I had never noticed that Eric Jacobson took the role of Bert and Grover until I watched that one video: Bert and Ernie's Word Play.

  • Well, he is the perfect successor after Frank Oz decides to retire from the Muppet business to start directing comedy films.

  • Jerry Nelson's and Frank Oz's voices have changed. That happens over the years. There's just nothing you can do about it.

  • Its great to see Biff, Sully, and Stella to be on the street again!!, but Biff and Sully aren't the same anymore!!

  • WHY the old chracters are sooo messed up? Biff has smaller eyes and a bristish accent (I think?) I think he suposed to have a new york accent? and Sully has eyes and talks (but its kind of nice to hear him talk), and I don't know alot about Stella?? Its cool to bring them back after 10 years!! Biff and Sully are a great comedy team!!

  • As I said, I don't think they actually ARE Biff and Sully. They just happen to look like them.

  • What year is this from?

  • 2006, according to the Muppet Wiki.

  • Hey, Grover! Quit stalking Mr. Johnson!

  • Those three construction workers sure resemble Biff, Sully, and Stella. Particularly the Sully one, except to say that he talks.

  • Wouldn't it be cool if Grover lived right next door to Fat Blue?

  • He probably does, ya know

  • i bet he does fat blue must hate his life if he did

  • I would actually think Gonzo and Grover are a tie if it comes to weirdness.

  • I'm wondering who's weirder, Gonzo or Grover. Grover seems pretty weird here.

  • LOL!

Is there a place on this planet where Fat Blue can hide from Grover? :-)

  • Gonzo's planet

  • I always like these sketches. These sketches tell me that Fat Blue can't get a moment to himself, NOT EVEN AT HOME!!!!!!!

He has no luck. And you just gotta laugh. In a good way, because the creators make it so you are rooting for the fun guys (Grover or Ernie) and laughing at the guys who are straight-laced (Fat Blue or Bert). That is just pure genius, and I love sketches like those. And these people have come A LONG WAY since the '60s.

  • There arent to many guys who can hold a candel next to Frank Oz, I shure miss his voice, he shure is outrageous!

  • Grover Why aren't you nice to Fat Blue?

  • n trespassing n harrasing him

  • @lion371 He is nice. He's just trying too hard to help Fat Blue Johnson.

  • Yes and while they spend the night, Time to get even with Grover.

  • I like the ending lines for "are you getting the crying?" It could have been more outrageous than that. I bet Frank Oz wasn't fully happy about that.

  • Grover said the crew will be spending the night so I assume the guys are still in the house somewhere.
